When he opened it I saw my mother, who apeared to be drunk and angry and backed into the house away from her.. "Get over here..!" She started to say and barge into the house after me until Ethan blocked her with his arm. "You aren't allowed in my house Mrs. Houston. I'm sorry." He told her in a smooth tone. "That is my daughter and she is coming home with me!" She argued back "Give her to me or I'll..I'll call the police!" she shouted at him as I kept slowly backing away from her reaching hands. "Really? Because this is my house and I'll report you for traspassing. Vivenne turns 18 today. I say she can do as she pleases." He retorted back at her, and she shauntered back as though he'd slapped her. Even I was unaware that today was my birthday... I am no longer under her control..
Moments passed by in a daze and I really wasn't sure what was happening. Everything seemed to be going so well once I realized I was no longer under the control of that achoholic monster that considered herself my mother. I still couldn't believe that I was finally free.
