Chapter I:

What's with the weather, the rain falls like daggers on my cabin. My friend Lance is over while my parents are out. He's a bit scared of loud noises. I gave the idea to build a fort, I have too many blankets and pillows anyways. "I have to go to the bathroom", I told Lance, he seemed worried and was busy working on the pillow fort. I set off to do my mission.

I came back, to my surprise, the fort was huge. I yelled to Lance, "Lance!"... there was no response. "Lance where are you?", I said in a deeply worried way. There was no response in the beating rain. I decided to check the fort, although it seemed only a few feet deep.

"Where does it end? I can't see anymore, where's the light?! Lance! Laa-!" I stopped when out of the corner of my eye I saw a faint glow. "Guess he's not in here", I said to myself as I ventured towards the light.

Chapter II:

"Why can't I hear the rain anymore, could it really have stopped that fast? Maybe lance went to find more pillows... just maybe." I went closer to the light, but there wasn't a clear view of my living room, it's strange. "Lance are you back yet, did you find mor- umph..."

..."wher- what is thi- OWW!" My head had hurt, I had fallen, but where had I fallen to. There wasn't a pillow, or my house in sight. "Am I dreaming? Why would I be dreaming, i was surrounded by pillows but I fell... how did I fall?" I saw a cabin off in the distance, wouldn't hurt to ask around.

It took me awhile but I made it to the cabin. "Hello! Sir, Madame! Is anyone There?!" There was no response for awhile. I saw a figure heading off into a cliff on the horizon. I decided to take after the mysterious being. Maybe they would hold some answers to where I am.

I sprinted off towards the figure, but they must have saw me, for they started running faster over the cliff. I lost sight of them, but that didn't change my pace, I had so many question. There I was edge over the cliff. My mind went blank, all of a sudden I was completely surrounded in white...

I screamed, "Help!"... There was a feint echo after a few minutes that hit me back. I started walking on this canvas, there was a dagger on the floor. I picked up it's almost pristine shine of a blade to see if I could feel pain, I jumped to the blades entry.

Chapter III:

"AGGH!" The blade had sliced right through my finger, worst of all was the fact I felt it... I didn't wake up. It must have been forever, but I passed out.

I woke up to a child poking my chest, this child wasn't human though, they were almost ghostly. I quickly got up, but fell back down, like Bamby on ice. My mind was shot, I could not bear the agonizing aches. The child was poking me, I could feel it...

"Hugh..." I must have passed out again. But now I'm in a familiar warmth, what was this feeling. A light appeared and a figure grew from it... I reached out for this figure but I grew faint amidst it all. There was a dagger in my left hand.

Chapter IV:

"Where am I!" I yelled at the figure, "And why do I keep passing out!" The figure passed me by, right over my head, as if it were just an angel upon the beaten trail. I blacked out, but my eyes were open, I knew of it, I know, I kno...

My lips were sealed... we're they all along, no, they couldn't have been. I see a light in the distance, I crawled to it, for my legs felt very feeble... I finally reached the light, I put my left hand forward... all I saw was a dagger floating in place.

And there was none... no more light for the eyes I lived, but there was warmth, warmth for the souls I give. Why is the light forsaken upon my ghastly stare. Was there too much pain for my own care. Then I realised, my headache was gone. There was no fret.

Chapter V:

"WHERE IS LANCE!" I began to yell, where is he... I began to sob... "My life, oh my life, why can't I see the light. The right to see lucidity, is flaccid and pure, in my tranquility. Please bring light for my own forte, oh how I'd love to see the light of day...

I wake... But was I awake, I feel forgotten in the land of forgiveness... where is my heart, is it apparent... why can't I see myself anymore...

There I was though, I could see myself, I can see, "I can see!" There was that warmth again, I was getting hotter, when there and then, I fell. I could feel myself falling, but there was no fear in my body, as if I don't care for death, as if my suicide is scrawny.

And splat... There I am, I am not me, but a blade. Whats with the glass, is this blood... Oh my god...

Chapter VI:

Oh my god... There I am, but thats not me, is it, me... oh my god. Why am I here, what is thi-, OH MY GOD! "WAKE UP, WAKE UP, WAKE UP!" Pleaseee, please god... I begin to cry. I had realises that, I had been in a pool of... no, I wasn't in a pool of... blood.

I know this wasn't me, it wasn't, it couldn't be. Why is this my solution, "Is there any ANSWERS!" I yelled... when can I go back. I'm back to my head, there was nothing, is there truly nothing, nothing is my answer, nothing is something, but nothing is nothing.

Lance... Can it just be Lance... Where are you Lance.

Chapter VII:

There I am, on a hill, nothing for miles on end, sitting beside me is a small man, peacefully glancing upon nothing, sharing nothing with me. As we indulge in nothing, the man turns to me and asks, "Do you want to share the storm with me?" I was confused. The man drew a dagger, and pointed it forward.

I turn to him and ask what does he mean, the man threw the dagger in the air. The man shook my hand, and jumped off the cliff, I tried to grab his hand... it was too far away... the dagger fell soon after him.

Out of pity, I found my dagger and pondered. "In this world of daggers and warmth, the sky falls on your soul this day, for souls to come, and pass away. You were the only answer I peeked, and the only answer I seek. You were the voice in my void, you were the dagger on my land. But for you to live in air, is for my dagger, I catch hair." I threw my dagger in the air.

Chapter IIX:

I jumped off the cliff... wait, I'm falling, back up, I passed the cliffs belly as it's land flew by... when all of a sudden I saw the man go past me... in the sky, my eyes did not mistake, there were thousands of daggers, all hustling towards me. I was not afraid, there was no end... it was time.

I braced for the sight of life to slip from my mind... But, there was light... "GOD DAMMIT!" I yelled in anger, as I reached for the darkness and pulled upon it... I pulled, and pulled... There was a budge. I kept pulling.

Down came a pack of warmth, I could wiggle my way through the light creeped cracks, was I breaking free of my curse, was this it? Was I finally free from my years of torment... was this freedom at last...

Chapter IX:

I broke through. I was in my living room. There were no daggers. There was no warmth. There was no man. There was no darkness. There was no harm. There was no blankets. There were no pillows. There was no Lance...

"Lance! Lance! Please Lance... I just need you he-." I heard a door shut, I heard steps, I saw a light, I saw... Lance...

"Lance! Lance, oh my GOD! Lance!... Lance... Lance, what are you-" he walked right by me, I looked back at him as he went by... "oh my god..." There were daggers serrated throughout my body, one even in my left hand, there was blood everywhere, pillows stacked beside me, as if it were my own tomb...

Lance broke down in tears, he was bawling at the sight of my corpse, blood still seeping... As lance looked to his side, there was a dagger, it must have shattered the window, as there was glass shards everywhere...

Chapter X:

Lance now appeared distraught, like he was insane with fear, as thunder crackles, and rain seeped the room... Lance picked up the dagger. He said, "What did you do?... the fort... you did not enjoy the storm..." and he stuck the dagger right through his heart, he fell to the floor, beside the broken window...

Lance muttered his final words in that moment...

"Didn't you want to share the storm with me..."
