Reader is female. Joint Overwatch/Talon. Reaper is more gentle.
Basically, the reader has a nightmare and is comforted by Reaper.

It was a generic nightmare: saw a figure in the bathroom mirror as you brushed your (H/L) (H/C) hair, you woke up just before the figure killed you.
But it was terrifying.
The nightmares happened nightly now, each one seemed to get worse and worse. The feeling of hands around your neck lingered torturously even after you woke up. Hesitantly, you glanced toward the mirror. Every shadow in your dark quarters at the Overwatch base looked too unsettling, too human. Of course, you knew it was just your imagination.
Until you saw the cloaked, towering figure by the door. You jumped out of your skin and threw off the blankets covering your body. The figure jumped in obvious surprise as it fumbled for the light switch. Before you could scream, you realized it was only Reaper, standing in your doorway awkwardly. The harsh light against your dilated pupils made you squeeze them shut. Unfortunately, that meant tears leaking out of your (E/C) eyes. You jumped when Reaper laid a hand on your shoulder before relaxing beneath it. His hands, beneath the gloves and claws, were strong and large.

"Y/N, I heard you shouting. It sounded like you were in trouble. What the Hell happened?"

Reaper's deep growl betrayed a little bit of caring gentleness. Despite his rough exterior, Reaper was friendly enough if he liked you, and he certainly liked you, in particular. When Overwatch was revived and Talon joined it, you and Reaper became close. It helped that your rooms were next to each other and you both had a taste for (Favorite Movie) and (Favorite food with favorite drink). You sighed.

"Bad dream,"

You mumbled before continuing;

"It's nothing. Did I wake you? Sorry."

You answered slightly shyly, looking down. Reaper chuckled in an almost dark way, amused.

"I've been up for a while now. Can't sleep."

His tone of voice dropped a little and the hand resting on your shoulder squeezed it a tiny bit. You looked at the clock and laughed.

"Reaper, what are you doing up at three AM?"

You preferred calling him Reaper instead of Gabriel or Gabe. It seemed cooler to you and made you giggle when he, in return, called you by your code name. Reaper's mask revealed nothing, but his shoulders dropped a little and he became less tense upon hearing your friendly and amused tone of voice.

"Talking to you."

He replied smartly, sitting next to you on your bed.

"Sorry to have bothered you."

You apologized again. Tentatively, Reaper reached up and brushed a strand of hair out of your eyes. You  bit the inside of your lip and hoped he couldn't see you blushing in the dim light.

"Stop apologizing. If I didn't want to come in, I wouldn't have."

Reaper growled. You smiled.

"Thanks, Gabe. I think I'll be fine now. Try and get some sleep, okay?"

You asked him before hugging Reaper before he could protest. To your surprise, he hugged you back. Reaper's hugs were rare and in short supply.

"Yell if you need anything."

He answered, giving your shoulder a slight squeeze as he pulled away and walked back into his room. You didn't hear him lock it. An invitation, perhaps? You smiled and neglected locking your side of the door, either, mentally cursing and thanking the stupid room setup. There were two to three doors per room, one leading to a main area where you could access all other rooms, another leading to your neighbor, who also had a door on their side, and an optional third one to the other neighbor. You only chose to share a door with Reaper, and normally kept your door locked. Apparently, you'd forgotten tonight.
Oh well. Smiling, you laid back down under the blankets and fell asleep.

Sleep brought yet another nightmare. This time, it was one where you felt the pain, saw the horrors. One where you looked in the mirror, only to see a creature that wasn't you pull you into it and step into your world. This new side of the mirror was terrifying. It contained your worst fears, and this time, you only woke up after you died.

Luckily, you didn't wake up screaming, only bolted upright doing something much worse: calling for Reaper.
Oops. You shut your mouth almost instantly, hoping he didn't hear, and checked the clock as you shivered without the blankets you'd thrown off. It was 3:37. About 37 minutes after you'd already bothered Reaper once. Fearing he'd be mad, you brought your knees close to your chest and hugged your legs, lower lip trembling. Part of you was still stuck in the nightmare. You frantically checked the mirror over and over. It took only a few seconds for Reaper to barge through both doors, hand on one of his guns. At the sight of you safe, he relaxed and turned the light on so that moonlight wasn't the only light. You trembled slightly as tears pricked the corners of your eyes.
