A/N: Hello! Again, just a reminder that this is AU. So, this isn't based on ANY of the boy's real life (but I'm hoping some of it is hehe) Oh and the boys personality are protrayed in here though. Also, in this story, Liam and Harry are brothers. Btw, football refers to soccer in this story if you're confused, cause I know in America you guys term what we call here rugby as football. Without further ado, LET'S DO THIS POO (:

Liam.

My coconspirator. My protector. A boy who since young believed that he would succeed in the game of football. Such high aspirations while the heart so gentle, so tender and the mind so juvenile, was a very spectacular sight.

Now this boy who seemed ever so young and with so many aspirations is 18. One of the top athletes in McKanely High. He is none other than my brother.

"Haz!" Liam's voice penetrated the interior of the room, making me flinch a little but I recovered quickly and a display of annoyance radiated from my face.

"What?" I hissed.

His face instantly flushed, "Sorry." He muttered as he kept his gaze fixed on the ground.

I broke out into a roar of laughter unable to suppres it any longer. I loved that about Liam. He had never once in his life let me suffer even in the tiniest proportion if it were in his power. Sometimes I wonder what I'd done to deserve such an amiable brother.

"Just wanted to let you know we're leaving in 10 and-" He paused, contemplating whether or not to mention this. I raised my brow quizzically at him, my pupils devouring every second he kept his honey coated orbs on mine. He sighed, admiting defeat and I could feel a smile tugging at the corner of my mouth.

"I'm sorry you were forced to go on this trip. I know you'd rather be chilling by the pool, staring at chicks." He whispered, an apologetic look etched on his face.

I rolled my eyes and did my infamous nose crinkle. "It's okay, Li."

With that. he exited the room, silently shutting the door behind him.

With his presence gone, in my mind I had replayed his words over and over. Girls? Oh right, did I forget to mention I was a closet gay. I don't think I could ever tell him, not when his perception of me was that I was into girls. But it hurt so much, knowing that I could never come out without having dirty looks sent my way, every time I bristled past people. I sighed, as I buried my face into my hands.

I reached the bottom of the staircase and my gaze instantaneously fell upon him.

"What is he doing here?" I directed the question at Liam, clearly annoyed.

"He's riding with us." Liam stated plainly and held his hand up for no further procrastination.

"Couldn't he have gotten a ride with someone else?" I countered, but then realised that Liam had left the room, heading towards the car. Leaving his man-whore best friend and I standing awkwardly, as the defeaning silence began to surge through the room.

"Didn't know you played soccer." Louis smirked, as he eyes roamed the house looking in any direction but mine. Another reason for me to hate him..

"I don't." I snapped and secretly hoped that Liam would come barging in before Louis could utter a single word.
