Hey, guess yall thought I was gone forever huh? well nah, just been a crazy fast couple years...yknow, work. school. work. emergencies. going back to school. tiktok.
I've had crazy writers block.

This day could not get any better! I can't believe Blake Scott looked at me! I tried to stop grinning like a mad man but nothing could stop the memory playing in my mind. It was on a permanent loop and I wouldn't want it any other way. Blake Scott smiled at ME! Not anyone behind me, I checked, his eyes were on me!
"What do you think?"
"Huh?" I looked up to notice Jackson staring at me like I has a hair growing out of my eye.
"You're acting weird."
"I'm not acting weird. Just trying to remember all my homework. Anyway, what was you saying?"
"SAW 5 just came out and I know you hate those movies because of your anxiety but, I really wanna go see it. You wanna come with? I'll even buy the snacks." He asked grabbing his hat from his locker.
"Jacks-" I started to whine but then he said in a singsong voice,
"They have dippin dots"
"No way. You wanna go to the Avenue? That place is expensive!"
"Did I mention how much I wanted to see this movie?"
"I'm in! When did you wanna go?" I asked but before he could reply he was cut off by laughter. We both looked up and saw a bunch of jocks laughing in our direction. I would already tell this was neither going to be pleasant or ingenious.
"Aw, you two freshmen made a date!"
"How cute, got my vote for best couple."
"What a bunch of fairies."
"Haha they're making plans like their gay, so they must be gay!"
Jacks and I looked at each other before looking back at them. We both started grinning as he put his arm around my neck and leaned in close.
"Jamie, they think we're gay."
"Why would they think that?" I asked while hugging his waist.
"Not sure. But I am sure that I saw blondie and beefcake over there messing around in the locker room earlier today."
"Really? You think they're gay?"
"I'm not gay!"
"I'm not gay!" They yelled in unison.
"Y'all were foolin' in the locker room?" One of the others asked them.
"Ya but not foolin' foolin'."
"Exactly. We were messin' around foolin'."
That ended with a big crash and burn as they tried to explain what they were actually doing. Which, from Jackson's understanding, they were comparing muscle mass by hitting each other in the arm as hard as they could only he wouldn't let them know that, instead he told them that staring at and feeling each others body parts was completely and undeniably gay. Our lunch that day was very amusing.

"You were so mean, Jacks. They started getting really angry in there. We coulda got our faces smooshed in."
"Did you just say smooshed? Huh, weirdo. Anyway. Who are they to tell us we can't sit there? We have just as much right as that douche Blake Scott...What kind of name is Blake Scott? What one name wasn't enough for the kid his parents had to buy him a first name as a last name?"
