"Guys, I think she's awake".My eyes remaining closed, I examine my environment with my other senses. I trace my hands along a soft and warm cot and press my eyebrows together, confusion surging through me. Where the hell am I? Slowly I open my eyes and take in my surroundings. A few young boys are hovering over me, looks of concern plastered on their faces.
"Rise and shine, kiddo". One of them says. He seems to be older than the other guys, and he chuckles and walks away. "You're in charge, Newt". He slaps his hand on a blonde boy's shoulder and exits the room.
"Okay great she's awake, but am I the only one here who would like to know what the hell is going on?" Another blonde boy asks, his oddly shaped eyebrows rising.
"I agree with him". I say. My voice comes out raspy and quiet and I cough. The blonde boy with the normal eyebrows hands me a cup of water and smiles.
"Drink this, you probably haven't had a drink in days". I give him a thankful nod, and he nods back.
"What's going on?" I ask. Weird eyebrow guy sighs and paces around the room, his hands on his hips.
"I have no idea. You're the only girl we've ever seen here". He almost laughs, but I can tell the matter here is very serious to these boys. "I don't know how to tell you this but you're the only girl here amongst a lot of damn boys". I shake my head slowly, still lost.
"Can I j-just..." I carefully lift myself out of the bed and turn the corner, staring out the door. A vast expanse of green lies before me.
"Hey you should really just lie down okay!" The weird eyebrow guy exclaims. I shake my head and wander out the door. The bright sun shines into my eyes and I wince, covering my face with my hand.
"What the hell is this place?"
