Another day in this desolate place. No people. No surviving infrastructure. Nothing but me and nature.
"I have stuff to do like maybe feed myself. But with that in mind, why can't I get up?" I said to myself laying down on the floor of my camouflaged forest house. "Now what is it that I hear?" I said nonchalantly. "Footsteps? 7 people."
I sprang up despite the exhaustion in my body and began to take a fighting stance.
"It's fight or flight in this world, and I'm gonna have to do a little of both," I said as I took my bow and a satchel full of arrows. "Off to the treetops."
