That night in the Gotham City Police Department, the officers organized a small meeting in their office.
Commander Yindel, Mayor Stevenson, Jim Gordon, and the others all sat at a round table to discuss what was going on.
"As the new head of the GCPD, I want the citizens to feel safe in their beloved city. I want all crime erased from existence. I want the Batman to help us out," noted Commissioner Yindel.
She was determined to complete the criminal problems that plagued Gotham for years.
"To be quite honest Ellen, I've worked for over twenty years as the commissioner. Crimes are never going to go away, it's why we exist to prevent some of the crimes," replied Gordon.
"Listen Gordon. Since I'm in the position, I say we eradicate all crime. Send them all to Blackgate for all I care," Yindel argued.
"Madam, you have no idea how hard it is to do that. Take it from a guy like me who's fought crime for years. It can't go complete away. Destiny still arrives," Gordon said with a wheezing cough.
"Don't instruct me on your past. Gordon...I'm ready to take this city away from the plagues," warned Yindel.
"Good luck," Gordon muttered. Mayor Stevenson chimed into the conversation with his thoughts.
"Commissioner...what do we do with Batman and his sidekick?" asked Mayor Stevenson.
"You're the mayor. I figure we let Batman and his sidekick on their own to help fight crime," replied Yindel.
"Isn't the bat supposed to be going into retirement?" asked one curious officer. The room grew silent, thinking.
"He could be," said Gordon. "Maybe that's why he hasn't been out and about lately. Age must be getting to the poor man," added Mayor Stevenson.
"Okay back to OUR plan. I think we should close the borders surrounding the city. We have to keep the criminals intact, that way they have no chance of escape," explained Yindel.
"What about the exports of guns being sold in here?" asked more officers.
"We can ask the Dark Knight to deal with the arms dealers. We have to focus on taking down whoever's in charge of the criminals," replied Yindel.
Just as she said that statement, an officer walked in with a document. "It's been reported by several citizens that the leader of the criminals is none other than...Harvey Dent," he said.
The officers recognized Harvey's name right away. "He's the business manager from his own corporation that was torn down," whispered some officers. They were disappointed at Dent's own turn.
"He's not Harvey anymore. Now we start looking for his group and arrest them to the highest degree," demanded Commissioner Yindel. The officers looked at one another and agreed.
As the GCPD were assigned to get ready to hunt down Harvey's group, Batman and Robin had other plans. Bruce was exhausted and tired from his mission, so he decided to call up Gordon.
They arranged a meeting at the GCPD headquarters to discuss more about Dent. Since Bruce didn't have a butler to drive him, he drove his own limousine to the GCPD. He still had to stay undercover with his secret identity. Bruce thought of a good excuse as to why he's helping Gotham as a billionaire.
"When did you get so involved in solving crime?" Gordon chuckled as he welcomed Bruce inside. They both used walking canes to get their way around. As they sat at a desk across from each other, Bruce felt it was time to tell Gordon the truth.
After all, James Gordon was the last catalyst to his past. He knew Bruce's parents who were Thomas and Martha Wayne. "What brought you here to come talk to me good ol' Bruce?" asked Gordon. He was happy that he got to speak with someone he had known for a long time, compared to Yindel's generation.
