ETHAN'S POV

"Ethan! Get up! We need to get ready for the bonfire tonight!" Grayson yelled, waking me up.

I opened my eyes slightly and saw Grayson standing by his closet with a towel wrapped around his torso.

I groaned. "It's still early, Grayson."

"No, it's almost one pm, you lazy ass." He said as he threw on a white tank top.

I sat up quickly. "It's already one?" I asked surprised.

"Yes, Ethan. Now go get ready. Lina and Tammy are already ready to go buy the snacks." Grayson said as he got dressed into the rest of his clothes. He had his blue swimming trunks on with white slides and a snapback.

I got up and rubbed my eyes. "Okay, I'm just gonna jump in the shower real quick."

Grayson nodded and walked out of the room with me. We parted ways as he walked to our small little kitchen and me to my bathroom. I came to my bathroom where I found that the door was closed.

That's weird. I never close my bathroom door.

Suddenly Lina came out of it.

"Oh jeez, sorry. I hope you don't mind. Tammy was in the other one taking forever, and I really had to go, so I thought I could just use yours." She rambled.

She's so cute.

"It's okay." I chuckled. "You can use it whenever you want."

"Thanks." She smiled and I returned it.

I nodded and went through the bathroom door only halfway when Lina stopped me.

"Ethan?"

"Yeah?" I looked her straight in the eyes.

Ugh. This is reminding me so much of last night.

The way she looked back at me in that small silence just wanted me to kiss her more badly than ever. And now she's looking at me like that again.

Shit.

Keep it together, Ethan.

"Can we talk later?" She asked, scratching her arm. "About last night."

My stomach turned. I had no idea what she wanted to talk about about last night.

Does she not want anything to come out of it? Because I want something.

But it doesn't help that I want something but she doesn't.

Gosh, Ethan. You are so stupid to think she would like you back.

I hesitated for a moment. "Yeah, sure."

She smiled. "Hurry up. Tammy woke me up so freaking early to get ready for this thing and it's unfair that you got more sleep than I did."

I chuckled. "Tammy's always been like that. Early bird and night owl. When does that kid sleep?"

"I swear." She chuckled. "I admit, I am awake late at night, but she's up later. Sneaking off to Grayson's room and all."

"So that's the giggling I keep hearing at night." I chuckled.

"Anyway." She smiled. "See you later. We'll be waiting."

I smiled and nodded as she walked away. I went into the bathroom.

I got undressed and walked into the shower, turning on the water.

I can't get her off my mind.
