chapter 10

TONY

I check Lowri as soon as the guys leave. She's asleep but wakes up as I walk over. She sits up and smiles weakly.

"I can't believe how ill I've been. I've never been that ill before" she says softly.

"Glad to hear it" I say, smiling at her.

"Do you want something to eat?" She pauses for a moment then nods.

"Yes please."

I carry her down the stairs. I like the feeling of her in my arms. And after the bath, she smells lovely too. We go into the kitchen where I look for something for her to eat. She asks for cheese on toast. And a coffee. I can do that.

LOWRI

I'm feeling a bit cold now, so Tony fetches me a hoody and I quickly put it on. I eat my cheese on toast and see Mike has left his cigarettes. I wonder if he'll mind me having one.

"He left them for you" says Tony, laughing at me looking at them. I grab one and slowly go outside. Tony follows me and wraps his arms around me. I look up at him.

"Thank you for looking after me. For being my nurse" I laugh. Did he get better looking while I was ill? He has a look about him tonight. He just smiles and I swear my heart skipped a beat.

TONY

She looks so beautiful with her curls cascading down her back. Her eyes look almost turquoise and her lips so full and kissable. I hug her to me, wanting more than anything to kiss her but not quite finding the courage. She finishes her cigarette and we go back in. She walks over to the sofa and sits down. I sit next to her and we flick through the channels looking for something to watch. She moves closer so I put my arm around her and pull her even closer. I start playing with her hair. I can't seem to control myself.

LOWRI

Tony is having great fun playing with my hair. I didn't realise how relaxing him doing that is. I lean back against his chest and close my eyes. I want him to kiss me so badly. I look up at him, hoping he will get the hint.

TONY

She looks at me. I can't resist any longer. I gently lower my lips to hers. I swear I feel sparks shooting through us. She responds with a tiny moan of passion. We stay like that for a few moments of sheer bliss. She pulls back, panting. I put my hand on her cheek and gently stroke her face. She is so beautiful. Then she smiles. My heart skips a beat. I pull her into my lap and we kiss again.

LOWRI

I've never been kissed like that before. Every nerve ending in my body reacted, wanting more. I pull back, not wanting to end it but struggling to breathe after being ill. Tony smiles at me again. I've never seen a smile so divine. I smile back and wish I was his. Forever.

TONY

It's gone midnight and I notice Lowri is looking sleepy again. I pick her up and carry her up to the spare room again. I put her on the bed and cover her up, giving her a soft kiss on the lips.

"Stay with me" she mumbles.

I tell her I'll be back in a minute. I go to my room and change into shorts before going back in to her. She's asleep so I cuddle up to her. This feels so right. I sigh and wish I could hold her like this forever.
