Interview with @SurroundMe

What is your username?
A. SurroundMe
When did you join Wattpad? And for how long have you been writing (in general)?
A. I joined wattpad a year and a half ago on another account. I have been writing for quite, a while, it's always been something I've done since I was young.
What can you tell us about the current story you’re working on? Tell us a little about the plot and the characters in it?
A. Well I'm working on multiple stories at the moment, but the two I'm most focused on are called Her Goodbye, which the main plot surrounds a female character who has committed suicide(well that was the original premise, it has wandered from that a little.) and she's writing letters for loved ones/friends to read. The other is called Miss Angelina, which surrounds a female serial killer, and the reasoning behind her dealings.
Why do you think the readers should read your story (mention the factors which will be appealing to the readers)?
A. Honestly, I have no clue, I put some effort in to them, and with me that's hard to find. I have a short attention span, so putting effort into typing up chapters is really...unnerving. I think...I have a style of writing that isn't very much like anyone else's, but then again, so does everyone. Honestly, if there was any reason to read a story it's understanding how much effort or time someone has put in to their work. It's understandable if you believe someone hasn't put any effort in, but seeing a book in your feed/recommendation, and giving it a shot can really brighten someone's day.
Which is your favourite character, in the current story you are working on?
A. For Her Goodbye, I'd have to say Harry Kirk, and for Miss Angelina, Florence. I have a thing for deuteragonist's in stories. :)
How many stories have you posted on Wattpad (excluding short stories)?
A. Um, 10, All uncompleted, some not even started really, just prologues.
Can you tell us about your other stories, any two other stories that you are working on?
A. Well, the other two that I'm trying to work on but I'm failing to do so, are The Moonstruck Fool (Title in progress) and Fallen Queen. One is historical fiction, with a bit of drama and stuff, and the other...is a sort of butterfly effect of one man's death.
Do you offer critiques to other users? If you have offered a critique, mention that story?
A. I have done critiques in the past, to the point that I got over-flooded with requests and stopped. I enjoyed it, really, it was a great way to discover which type of writers I enjoyed the most.
Do you write for yourself or for the readers?
A. Majorly, I write for myself, it's my only creative outlet lately, but part of me wants to write for people who read the stories.
Describe yourself in ten words.
A. Awkward, Stubborn, Quiet, Reserved, Action-oriented, Harsh, Warm, Sympathetic, Independent, Perfectionist.
