Courtney's POV
Sitting in the house on a Saturday I get up to put my shoes on.
I texted Amy a while ago to see if she wanted to hang and she said cool so I'm going next door.
-IM GOING NEXT DOOR WITH AMY I tell my moms as I walk towards the door.
-BE BACK FOR DINNER mom tells me.
-OKAY I quip before leaving out.
Now next door I walk upstairs after Amy's mom telling me to go on up.
In the hallway I can hear a guitar playing as I get closer.
-AMY? I lowly say opening the door seeing her play her guitar.
Amy always loved her guitar.
I got it for her as a present when we were eight and she plays it everyday.
She even taught me how to play a little.
-HEY COURTNEY Amy says putting her guitar down.
-WHATCHA PLAYING? I ask her as I sit down on her bed.
-JUST A SONG I WROTE my friend states.
-IT SOUNDS SAD I admit.
-EHH Amy shrugs. CAN I ASK YOU SOMETHING? she questions me.
-YEAH I nod.
-AM I UGLY? She asks taking me by surprise.
-NO AMY WHY WOULD YOU ASK THAT? I respond.
-BECAUSE BOYS DON'T LIKE ME she glumly says. I WANT THEM TO LIKE ME HOW THEY LIKE YOU AND THE GIRLS.
-AMY IF THEY DON'T LIKE YOU THATS THEIR LOSS I tell her. BUT YOU'RE NOT UGLY, YOU'RE AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL I say.
-AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL? Amy chuckles making me laugh.
-AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL I repeat her. HOW ABOUT THIS I start. HOW ABOUT YOU DO MY HAIR AND I'LL DO YOUR MAKEUP I tell her.
-OKAY Amy smiles while writing on her jean pants.

After her dying strands into my hair and me doing her makeup we both look into her mirror.
-YOU LOOK AWESOME I say to my friend while she eats her ice cream cone.

-AND YOU LOOK LIKE A ROCKSTAR Amy adds making me laugh.

Emily's POV
-OOUU MOMS ARE GONNA KILL YOU! I hear Dylan yell as the front door closes.
-WHAT HAPPENED N...
Alison then cuts herself off by dropping a glass plate to the floor.
-WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR HAIR? I ask Courtney as she stands in front of us with Pink and Purple strands in her hair.
-AMY DID THEM FOR ME Courtney states. SEE, THERE'S PURPLE AND PINK she adds. ITS COOL RIGHT? she asks while demonstrating the pieces.

-ARE YOU NUTS! Alison raises her voice taking the kids aback.
-WHAT? Courtney confusingly asks.
-IM GONNA KILL HER Alison mumbles to me.
-JUST CALM DOWN I whisper back to her. SHE'S ALMOST SIXTEEN I add.
Alison then inhales and exhales before walking over to her.
-YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL she smiles giving Courtney a kiss on her head.
-REALLY? Courtney questions.
-REALLY I answer. GO GET WASHED UP, DINNERS ALMOST READY I tell her.
-I THINK SHE LOOKS PRETTY Corey says once Courtney's upstairs.
-YEAH CAN WE CHANGE OUR HAIR TOO? Grace questions.
-NO both me and Alison answer at once.
-COURTNEY'S IN TROUBLE Dylan says to his sisters.
-COURTNEY'S NOT IN TROUBLE I tell him.
-SEEMS LIKE SHE'S IN TROUBLE Lily adds in.
-CAN YOU GUYS JUST ZIP IT? I ask them.
-EMILY Alison says giving me a warning look to calm down.
-ARE WE IN TROUBLE? Dylan asks.
-EAT Alison tells him.
Once Courtney comes down we all discuss our days while eating.

After Dinner the kids clean the table while Emily and I do the dishes.
-MAMA SOMEONE'S AT THE DOOR FOR YOU! Corey shouts.
-WHAT NOW? I ask myself out loud thinking that it's one of my students again.
I have this one student that I tutor that thinks she can just stop by whenever she needs help.
-GO GET EM TIGER Emily jokes while smacking my butt.
-GO HELP MOM I tell Corey as I get to the door.
Opening it again I see a blonde with blue eyes probably in her late teens standing on my doorstep.

-ALISON the girl says.
-MAY I HELP YOU? I ask.
-BABE WHO'S AT THE DOOR? Emily questions running over next to me.
-IM JADE the girl says as the kids peek through the window to see who we're talking to. YOU'RE SISTER she lastly adds.
