"Brooke! I've been waiting for you!" Flooded the girl's ears as a pair of arms wrapped around her body.

She turned and screamed in excitement.  Standing in front of her was her best friend since grade school.

"Taylor!" She squealed in excitement, throwing her arms around the girl (who, admittedly was much taller than she used to be). "How did you get to be so freaking tall? You used to be the short one." She said, grabbing her friend's shoulders.

"It might help that I'm wearing heels." Taylor gestured down to her feet, which donned the highest pair of heels Brooke had ever seen. Compared to the ballet flats she wore, no wonder her friend was suddenly an Amazon.

"I'm so proud of you, making it big down in Hollywood!" Brooke teased  Taylor laughed and offered to show her to her room.

"Holy." Was all the girl could manage as she stood in the doorway of the magnificent bedroom she was going to sleep in. "Are you sure you didn't rent out a mansion? Like you for real live here? This is nuts."

"What can I say? I did pretty well out here."

"Pretty well? All I ever hear is you on the radio over and over and over. Pretty well is what Taylor Swift did compared to you."

"Taylor Swift started earlier than I did." Her friend sighed, planting her hands on her hips and studying the extravagant room. "Anyway, dinner will be ready soon, the intercom is right there if you need anything, I need to go freshen up before we do the whole 'catching up' thing." She hugged Brooke and kissed her cheek, and promptly strolled out of the room.

Brooke thought Taylor was fresh enough, she looked like she had just walked off of a magazine cover. But instead of worrying about it, she started to unpack. The room got better the more she checked it out, but soon she was hungry and set out to find the dining room.

"Hello?" The blonde poked her head in "Did I finally find it? Am I in a conference room at the Hilton?" She asked jokingly after seeing the size of the room. There was only one person in the room, and he didn't look up or acknowledge her entrance.

"Um, sir? Am I in the right place? Can I get a map?" She asked, stepping fully into the room. Still no response, so she walked across the room and tapped his shoulder. He jumped very slightly and turned to face her. Taking out his headphones and straightening up, she saw his face. He was good looking, but seemed kind of young to be working full time as an attendant.

"Are you a guest of Miss Piotrowski?" He asked. She nodded slowly.

"I was just looking for the dining room."

"I'm sorry, I can help you with that." He moved past her and held the door open, allowing her to walk through without touching her. The man led her to a slightly smaller room with a large table. Taylor was standing before them, texting on her phone.

"Oh, hey. I was just texting you."

"Yeah, I got lost."

"Good thing Finnley was able to guide you back."

"May I be excused?" He asked. Taylor nodded warmly at the boy.

He exited. Brooke watched him leave and turned to her friend.

"Shall we get started?"
