Chapter 22

Alex’s Pov

Why couldn’t they both stop glaring at each other and be friends. Hopefully one day the Cullen’s and Werewolf’s could be friends.

“Maybe I should leave.” Edward said.

Wait what he couldn’t leave .Edward left the living room and I ran to him.

“Edward wait!”

Edward turned around just in time before I hit my face.

“Are you ok?”

“Yeah I’m alright you know clumsy me.”

Edward chuckled

“Edward do you really have to leave?”

“You have guest.”

“No they’re not my guest you’re my guest I told you I need help with my homework and we can go somewhere else.”

“Are you sure.”

“Yes let me tell my sisters and I’ll go get my homework and wait for me outside.”

Edward nodded and went outside.

I went back to the leaving room and saw them al sitting down in the couch. Seth with Esme and Jacob with Bella. I grabbed my things and putted them in my backpack.

“Where are you going?” Bella asked.

“She is hanging out with her boyfriend today.” Esme said.

I just ignored her and answered to Bella.

“I’m going somewhere with Edward so he can help me with my homework.”

“Why not…never mind well make sure you’re here by six.”

I nodded and went outside.

“So where are we going?” I asked

“To my favorite place.”

Oh he was taking me to the meadow. Finally I can see how it looks like.

“And where would that favorite place be?”

“Can’t tell you let’s make it into a surprise.”

Great he knew I loved surprises. That’s one big difference between me and Bella. Though I do hate birthday surprises but thankfully it wasn’t my birthday yet.

“Fine I won’t ask.”

Edward chuckled and we left.

Bella’s Pov

Finally I had finished Trig though it was really hard. I looked at Jacob and he looked like he was trying to make up his mind on something so I decided to ask.

“What’s on your mind Jake?”

He snapped out from thought and stared at me.

“I want to ask you a question and I won’t take a no.”

“Alright ask me.”

“Not here outside.”

I nodded and got up and we walked outside.

“So Jake what’s on your mind.”

“Bella do you want to be my Valentine?”

I smiled and nodded yes. Jacob hugged me tightly and twirled me around.


Esme’s Pov

I stared at Seth wishing he would ask me to be his valentine but he never asked me anything. So I got up and went to the kitchen.

“Esme what’s wrong?”

I turned around and Seth was standing in front of me.

“Um nothing Seth.”

“Ok I want to ask you something but don’t run out of the kitchen.’

I nodded and I felt like I could fly.

“Do you want to be my Valentine.”

“Of course I would like to be your valentine.”

This was the happiest day of my life.

Edward’s Pov

After Alex was done with her homework she lied down in the grass and stared at the sky.  Alex’s expression was so beautiful when she saw the meadow. I wish I could have taken a picture of that expression.

“Edward what are you thinking about?”

“Alex I want to ask you a question.”

Alex sat up and nodded.

“Do you want to be my valentine?”


Alex’s Pov

I thought Edward was going to ask me to be his girlfriend.

“Yes Edward I would like to be your valentine.” I happily responded.

Edward smiled the crooked smile Bella always said in the book.
