New Day

You were laying there in your bet sheets motionless, sounds flooding in as you faded into consciousness. The world outside has already started to move but damn were you too lazy to get up. You stretch out your arm to take your phone from the night stand next to your bed and turn the screen on. "Shit" it's 9:28am and you're supposed to be at your new company at 10am to start your induction. You've already been fired from your previous company for turning up late on the day of the show...4 times now. You bounce off your bed, almost smashing your face into the floor, and head straight for the bathroom, hitting your pinky toe an the door frame "fuuuuuu!"

9:51am. Great, you might just make it on time you thought as you sat in the taxi. It was only a 15 minute drive from your apartment to your work. That is until you hit traffic... What a perfect day it is today. You nervously look at your phone which now reads 9:53am. This traffic doesn't look like it's going to go faster than a snail. Fuck it. You hand some cash to the driver, grab your bag, get out the car and start legging it to work. Your work shouldn't be too far.. if you knew where you were going. You feel like an idiot for not checking your route the day before. You could feel everyones eyes on you as you ran down the side walk while out of breath. That's what you get for not exercising. You somehow manage to pull up maps and check the route on your phone.

9:59am. You crash through the buildings doors right on time. If you weren't a mess when you left the house then now you definitely were now, not to mention sweaty. Your muscles ached from the running and your ribs stung, you were completely breathless, but hey at least you made it. Trying to fix your hair and clothes as best you can, you walk up to one of the passing workers to ask for directions. BigHit Entertainment was smaller than your previous company, but you kind of preferred it?

Ugh that induction seemed to last forever and you haven't even had your coffee with the vodka shot. Probably shouldn't have gone to sleep so late, but damn Overwatch is addicting.

You start heading through the hallways to your escape already having called the taxi when you overhear some music playing. It's an unfamiliar song but it sounds really good, so good that you're tempted to go in and ask for the name of the song. DNA.....DNA. Wait. You remembered you're new boss mentioning something about setting up a stage and getting ready for BTS's new comeback and something about DNA.

"Are you ok?" You jumped at the question suddenly coming from behind you. You spin around and see a really tall man standing behind you. "Are you lost? Do you need help? I'm Sejin by the way" he introduced himself. "Ah no I'm fine, it's just the song is really nice" you gave a small smile and a quick bow. "Yeah, they worked really hard on this" he smiled back and you watched him walk into the room where the music was coming from.

Your house was quiet, your cat must have snuggled up somewhere to sleep. You checked your phone, 5:46pm, ok time to make dinner...only you're too lazy to cook so you order in some pizza and sit with your cat watching TV. Since you help with the editing and assist the managers in various tasks, means you need to come in tomorrow too, which means being there for 9am...

The next day you actually arrive on time and you've packed your vodka in a water bottle. Day seems to be going good so far, a couple odd jobs here and there and then a meeting to discuss the comeback stage. You sit down next to Sejin, placing your notebook in front of you. 7 extremely handsome men walk into the room, towels around their necks, clearly just come from dance practice. You run your eyes over each of them, taking them in and stand up to greet each one. The first was the shortest member with blond hair who introduced himself as Jimin. Right behind him was a taller browned haired, baby faced guy - Jungkook. Then came Taehyung, Yoongi, Hoseok, Jin and finally the tallest, Namjoon. You shook his hand and looked him straight in the eyes. They were beautiful and dark, his hair a peachy colour. It really suited him. You looked them up briefly this morning in the taxi, they were more breathtaking in real life, way better than in any pictures or that one video that you watched of their performance. Namjoon was wearing a sleeveless t-shirt which made his arm muscles painfully clear. Damn them muscles. You took your seat and Sejin, along with the other guy that was your manager who started the meeting. Even though you were paying attention to what was said since you were good at multitasking, you couldn't help but sneak peeks at Namjoon every now and again.

Finally! The meeting was over. The boys (mainly Yoongi) kept on changing on what coloured lights they'd want and what the stage set up should be like. Great, now you were going home annoyed, how can someone change their mind so many times? People have places to be ya know, like home for example.

As you were leaving for the day, all of a sudden you trip over a chair leg and fall face flat against the rough carpet. Who the fuck didn't tuck in their chair. Thanks to whatever gods, you were the last one out the room so no one saw. Or so you thought until the door opened and stepped through two feet. You don't even want to look up. Your cheeks start getting hot and red as you push yourself off the ground and start getting up when a pair of strong arms grip yours and you lift you up. "Are you ok?" A deep calming voice asks. It's Namjoon's. "Oh your nose" he gasps, moving his face in front of yours and you jolt back from the sudden move. "Yeah I'm fine" you push out of his gentle hold. Rubbing your nose you start heading out the door when he grabs your wrist. "We should disinfect that" he sounded concerned, stepping closer to you. This made you slightly agitated and you pulled out of his grip with a bit more force. "It's fine, I'm used to it" you replied in a stern voice, beginning to walk faster, leaving the worried and confused boy behind.
