Chapter 65
It had been a long day; Vincent and I went to museums, Time Square, we ended on the promenade so we could see the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge and Lower Manhattan it was all so beautiful to see. We had lunch at an authentic Italian restaurant and then headed out and did some shopping. We had a great time out just the two of us. It was getting late in the evening and we had to get back for Italia’s party.
“Babe we better get back home, your mother will kill us if we are late for the party.”
“Yeah we better get a move on, cause you have to get dressed and you know how you ladies are.”
“Whatever man, you know I don’t take that long to get dressed.”
“I know sweetheart, I’m just trying to get you riled up that all.”
“Don’t get yourself in trouble or you won’t make it to the party.”
“Well maybe I should keep looking for trouble and see what’s going to happen.”
“Mhmm sure I just bet you will.”
We headed back to Vince’s parents’ house to get ready for the party. As soon as we walked through the door Karyssa grabbed me by the arm and started dragging me to the stairs when Vincent stopped her.
“Uh Karyssa where do thing you’re going with my woman?”
“Well it’s late and we only have two hours before the party starts and she hasn’t showered, gotten her hair done or decided with dress she wants to wear, so we have a lot of work to do in such little time.”
“Well can I at least kiss her before you run off with her?”
“Oh alright, but make it quick we don’t have all night.”
“I’ll see you in a little bit, I love you.”
