"Oh, San ka pupunta?" asked by my bestfriend Chloe
"Diyan lang sa Café sa isang kanto." I said softly
I heard her sigh. "Lei.." She started "Alam ko naman na masakit eh, pero bakit mo tinutoture ang iyong sarili?"
"Chloe, tatapusin ko lang yung sinusulat kong stor--"
"Love story ninyo? Kung paano ito nagsimula sa sweet at happy story hanggang naging tragedy?"
I heaved a long sigh. Tagos sa puso ang mga sinasabi niya pero hinayaan ko lang kasi alam kong nag-aalala lang siya sakin.
"Chloe, alam kong nag-aalala ka lang sakin. Cheer up, okay? Magsusulat lang ako. Nothing more nothing less."
Humarap ako sa Full-length mirror. Pumayat nga ako. My face is pale, my collar bone is evident and I feel like I'm just feather. I'm wearing my fitted jeans and top it with a white sleeveless. I looked down at my red heels, I smiled bitterly.
I reached for my wallet, phone and keys and walked down heading towards door and opened it but I was stopped by a hand in my shoulders.
"Lei, move on."
I just smiled and said "I am moving on.."
Lumabas na ako sa apartment at naglakad na, I put my headphones on and press the song It's time by Imagine Dragon. He always said he didn't get this song. I once again smiled bitterly.
Six months..
It's been six months nang iniwan niya ako, four years naging kami. Akala ko nga siya na ang makakasama ko habang buhay but I was wrong. Iniwan niya ako, I just then found out na meron siyang anak, I can't even fathom the idea that he slept with another woman and cheated on me. After that, I've been a mess. I wasted my self on drinking all day and night. Partying all week. But then I got tired of it so I just locked myself on my room and ate once a day. Today was an exception. Honestly, natapos ko na 'yung story ko, pupunta lang ako sa café to find closure and to finally let go. After two days pupunta na akong America to be a writer and fulfill my dreams without him.
When I arrived at the café, I ordered a frappe capuccino and sat down at the table near the window glass. I closed my eyes and calmed myself.
•flashback•
"Don't wear heels next time, alright?" he said
"Why? " I asked and stared at his beautiful eyes.
"Nothing, I just don't like it when your wearing those things. I want you to be simple. And just the way you are."
I just smiled at him, after awhile we sat down at the bench. I put my headphones on and press the song It's time by Imagine Dragons. We've been doing this every time. We just sat down here facing the lake and stare at the beautiful creations of God. And savor the comfortable silence between us.
"What song are you listening?"
"It's time by ID."
"You really are a fan of them, aren't you? "
"Yeah, their songs are so relaxing and has deep meanings."
"Whatever you say, I don't really get that song."
"But I do." I said and smiled at him
"Right." He laughed and draped his arms on me.
•End of flashback•
I sighed at the memory, but this is what I wanted. I wanted to recall all the memories of us and let them stay and buried in this place. After a few hours I finally got up from my chair and went out.

Nandito na ako sa America and currently in Starbucks, Si Chloe naman nagshopping muna pero darating din yun mamaya. She's working as an illustrator dahil magaling siyang gumuhit and we worked in the same publishing company and we also stayed in one apartment.
"Hi, mind if I sit here?" someone asked, I looked up to that person and saw his handsome face.
"Uh, actually someone will be sitting there later."
"Oh, Can I sit here before she arrives? The tables are all occupied."
I looked at the place and fairly enough, he was right. The place was crowded.
"Fine."
"Thanks."
When he sat down, I became uneasy and nervous. I don't why but my heart was beating fast. Wait, this feeling happened to me last time. Dejávu?
"Hey, I'm jaycee, you are?" he said and lend his hands for a handshake.
I stiffined when he said that and then I rembered this scene.
•Flashback•
"Hey, can I sit here?" someone said
I looked at the owner of the voice and saw his dazzling face, it caused my heart to beat so fast
"Y-yeah, sure" I said and smiled
"I'm CJ, and you?"
"Lei, n-nice to m-meet you"
Then the rest of the hours was spectacular. He was a good company, and he made things easier for us and less awkward then the rest was history.
"Hey, still on earth?" I came back to my senses when he said that, I stared at him in the face.
"Oh, sorry uh.. uhm my name is Lei." I said and then stared at his face while feeling these wild beats in my heart.
"Take a picture, it last longer." He joked and smirked
I just laughed at his remark then smiled.
Maybe there was a purpose on why CJ left me and maybe because I'll find the right one.
And here in this café, I watched it begin again..
