Chapter Nine : After all

Teresa 

"Teresa why the hell are you staring at them like a stalker ?" 

"JEZZ ! Can you not sneak up on me !" I started to walk towards the kitchen and tried to play off the fact I was staring at them.

"Maybe if you weren't staring off in lala land you would have noticed me here." Kat proceeded to follow me around as she went on about my staring.  After a moment she stopped following me and stared at me waiting for some kind of reply. 

There was no way I was staring that bad is there. . 

 I finally caved in and said."Listen Kat , I think one of the guys was someone I matched on tinder with. "

"OH ! Do tell" 

"Well-" I tried to think of the best way to reply.

"No bullshit details" 

Kat seemed a little too eager for this chat.

"Okay I'm pretty sure it was this guy Kyle --"

"Is that the one I helped you type that reply for?"   Kat asked as she moved around and started to make popcorn.

"YES , if you would let me finish i would have gotten to that " I shook my head at hear before I continued on.  " Like I was saying he is the guy you helped me reply to but I mean we barely messaged -"

" Okay listen ,  don't over think it. You have plenty of other people messaging you , so why not get one to take you out this week?"

"Once again with the interrupting  Kat" 

"Look I have a point here think it over. "

Before either of us could continue there was a knock on the door. Instead of having to getting it this time Kat was there at the door. 

"Oh you handsome little devil come to mama!" Kat had a habit of 'sweet talking' the pizza. Something about food tasting better after you compliment it. 

"I see you are as energetic as always Kat  . " Replied the voice on the other side of the door.

"Hey Colin !  I didn't know you were back from visiting your family." I answered back , since Kat was getting a bit carried away . Colin was a friend of ours from school. He also happened to work at the pizza parlor part time. I always felt better knowing he was the one dropping off our order since I tended to get slightly embarrassed by Kat's antics. 

"Yeah just got back the other day. I thought I would surprise you guys and the pizza is on me , you're welcome "  Colin stated as he processed to look at Kat.

I'm pretty sure he is in love with Kat  but she hasn't noticed or just choose not to.

"Colin ! Sorry didn't see you there . Thank you for bringing the lovely pizza here. You should hang out sometime." Kat replied. 

" I mean I'm free right now. I clocked out before coming here." Colin replied as he walked into the apartment.

"Okay great now help me convince Tess to find a date!" Kat was practically  jumping as she gave Colin the gossip.

"Listen guys I don't need to find a date."  I tried to get a word in but guess they had other plans.

Maybe a night out wouldn't be so bad. I just didn't want to seem like I was doing it because of Kyle. 

While they were chatting a way I was able to message my match Dakota. He was pretty eager to hang out and agreed to get me the next day. 

"Okay we have a plan !" Kat was about to explain.

"Well about that Dakota is going to pick me up tomorrow.." I hastily replied. 

"Who is this kid ?"

"What is the plan ??" Colin got in my face as they both asked me questions.

"Dakota is going to pick me up and we are going to go out bowling I think. I will inform you guys when I know more. I thought you wanted me to go out. " 

" We do. Just have to be smart about it and share everything " Kat gushed. 

"We can talk more and all that jazz but I eat first?" I  asked since Kat was already heading to grab another slice of pizza. 

"Yeah yeah movie time lets go!!" 

Colin ended up staying and joined in on our Riverdale gossip.
