Life is a bitch. Set it straight, that is the truth.

Just like when you meet an amazing guy when you are on summer vacation down at your beach house and you discover that you are moving to a different state, of course you are going to be torn up about it. This one guy I met was stunning, funny and down right gorgeous, he was everything a girl would want. To be honest, he was like a dream to me, before I changed my look, I had glasses and braces, I felt like a laughing stock to the whole school, until one day I changed, and then karma slapped them in the face.

His name was Chace; Chace Xavier Palmer.

He had brown, matted curls on his head, stunning ocean blue eyes, an eight back on his stomach and a tattoo of an eagle on his shoulder blade, he was sixteen, but the tattoo was made by his brother. The tiger had green eyes, sharp pointy teeth and black stripes, it was the first tattoo I had ever seen created the way Chace's was.

My name is Destiny, Destiny Jayne Zander.

I have blonde, natrually straight hair and crappy green eyes, I have a nose peircing in my left nostril, it is a nose ring. I am the same age as Chace, only a few months younger than him. At the moment I am sitting in front of the beach house, getting up the courage to tell him, I am moving away.

The harderst part of telling someone you are not coming back, is everything.

~*~*~*~*~*~

I knew he had gone for a swim because he had left his towel and thongs sitting on the habour, I was wearing my floral summer dress and had my hair tied up in a high pony tail. I had to tell Chace I was leaving for Tennessee, but I couldn't think of a way of telling him. I lived in Montana at the moment, the beaches were amazing but leaving this place would be hard, I had lived here my whole life.

Chace and I weren't dating, just really close friends, and I didn't have anything against that. Althought I wanted to be with him so badly, he just didn't know. I sat down, cross legged next to his things. After about five minutes he emerged from the water, dripping wet.

"Hey Destiny" he called, running over and grabbing his towel from the peer. "What you doing?"

"Hey Chace, I came down here to talk to you actually, I need to tell you something..." I replied, feeling like I was going to cry. He smiled at me, before he begun talking.

"I have something I have to tell you too..." he said, shyly, sitting next to me, rubbing his hair dry.

"You go first!" I said, quickly. Before realising that I should probably have gone first. I was getting a little nervous about what he was going to say, my palms were getting clammy. He looked nervous too, wait, does Chace like me?

"I wanted to tell you this!" he said, and without warning, he picked me up and threw me in the water. I was under for a couple of seconds before coming up to breath, I couldn't help but laugh. He jumped in when I emerged from the bottom, he splashed me as he cannon-balled in.

"Chace! Why did you do that?" I screamed, laughing one again after it.

"You looked like you needed a swim, so I helped you by throwing you in." he laughed, I swam to the shore and lay down on the sand, just away from the tide. Chace came in not long after me. "What did you need to tell me?" he asked, I sat up and looked at him. I pulled him into the longest hug I have ever had with him. When I pulled away he looked at me, confused.

"What is is Des?" he said, concern growing in his facial expression.

"I'm leaving, for good" I whispered, before I started crying.

"What? Why didn't you tell me earlier?" he asked, a little hurt.

"I'm so sorry! I'm moving to Tennesee. I won't be coming back, Chace. I'm sorry" I replied, getting up to leave. But he grabbed onto my arm and swung me around.

"No!" he said, sternly. "Don't leave without saying goodbye, what's your new address?" he asked, grabbing his phone from the pocket of his jeans.  I gave him the address, but just as I was about to leave, he kissed me on the cheek, he was crying too.

I could see mum and dad's car, they were waiting on me. I looked around to see Chace standing on the beach, watching me leave. I didn't turn around again, because I knew I would get too emotional. The car was running and as soon as I got in dad sped off, I watched as Chace got further into the distance, I couldn't help but cry.

I was leaving everything behind, my love, my friends, my home.
