Riverdale was bombed and it's still left as a open case. The only survivors were Archie and Veronica. They don't remember anything from that day because they were in a 5 day coma. The nurses and the doctors don't know that they were dating or in a relationship. In the coma they lost the memory of that they were together. But they still have the knowledge of learning and the general things like eat, talk feel physical and emotional pain. They both were put in seperate familys who had adopted them.
