"Hello boys." A man said from the middle of the room. I looked up to see a short man with a round face scanning the room. "What brings me here today?" He looked down to see the devils trap circlint around him and in response rolled his eyes. His eyes then landed on me and a devilish grin spread across his face. "Ah, I see."
"I heard you were the King of Hell." I said as I stepped forward and looked him in the eyes.
"Well your ears did not betray you." He responded.
"I also heard that your little boy toys were after me." I said as I started circling him.
"Oh did you now?"His eyes follwed me as if I was the prey.
"I'm going to cut to the chase. Why are they after me? What makes me so different?" I stopped and looked him directly/
"You don't know?" I may be wrong but he looked shocked. I shook my head in response. "Well there's a plot twist!" He laughed. "Lets just say that if you don't know, then you are no danger to my kind."
Now I was just plain confused. I may be fierce, but I can't even kill a spider. "What? What do you mean?" I frowned.
He smiled and walked over to the edge of the devils trap to face me. My instinct told me to step back but I knew I needed to hold my ground. "My, your eyes are so blue. Similar to a pond. I'm sure people would line up to rinse away their dirt in a beautiful pond like that." He grinned that devilish grin once more.
I narrowed my eyes at him. "What am I?" I asked again.
No response.
"What am I!?!?" I shouted in his face.
He still didn't respond.
"Come on, Stella. He isn't going to cooperate. Let's go. He's not going anywhere while he's stuck in there." Sam said with a soothing voice. He put his arm around me and steered me away from Crowley.
"Can I at least get a call?" Crowley shouted after us.
"Fuck you, Crowley." Dean shouted and then slammed the shelves around him, leaving him in complete darkness.
Sam left my side to join Dean and Cas quickly replaced him as we walked back to the library. "Sorry about Crowley, he is very cryptic."
"You don't say." I laughed.
He looked over at me and smiled. "We will figure it out okay? Don't worry."
I looked up at him and smiled. "Thanks Cas."
He nodded and we sat down across from Sam and Dean who were talking before we came in. "So what's the plan? What are we going to do with Crowley?" I asked and they both looked over at me and back at each other.
"We are going to leave him in there for a while with no contact, he will break eventually." Dean responded.
"Okay... and until then?"
"We are going to train you to fight like you asked." Dean said.
I looked at Sam to confirm what he said and he nodded, in return I grinned. "Yay! Okay but I need a set of arrows and a bow, and throwing knives."
"Already taken care of." Dean rolled his eyes.
I smiled at both of them in excitement. "When do we start?"
"Tomorrow. We are done for tonight." Dean said as he got up from his chair and made his way to his room.
I looked over at Sam and Cas. "And what about me? What are we going to do about me? Crowley said I'm dangerous."
"To his kind. Not any of us so don't worry. We will figure it out." Sam said reassuringly.
I nodded. "Thank you guys for being willing to help me."
"Of course." Sam said. He smiled at me and then got up from his chair to go to his room for the night too.
"Everything will be okay." Cas said. I nodded and smiled.
We followed Sam and Dean back to our rooms in a companionable silence. "Goodnight Cas." I said before he entered his room. He turned and gave me a friendly hug and a smile before leaving me alone in the dark hallway. I walked to my room and was about to walk in when Dean came out of his room.
"Stella." He said.
"Yeah?" I turned to face him.
He hesitated and looked down at the ground. "Don't listen to Crowley. He's an ass and he was just trying to get into your head." He said shortly. He was about to walk back into his room but I stopped him.
"How do you know for sure?"
He turned to look me in the eyes. "I don't. But just trust me."
"You haven't exactly shown I can trust you over the past 24 hours." I scoffed.
He walked over to me and pinned me against the wall. "Listen, I may be cold to you, I may even seem like I don't like you, but you can trust me with what I say. I don't want to see you dead."
I looked into his eyes and nodded but he didn't move. He just kept staring at me. I'm sure it was just my imagination but it looked like his eyes flickered to my lips for a moment before returning to my eyes.
What the hell? "Dean." I said, trying to snap him back to reality, it worked.
"I'll be training you tomorrow. Expect to get up early." He said in his regular cold tone again and walked back into his room slamming the door shut behind him.
I stared at his now shut door in shock. "My life is so weird." I mumbled and walked into my room shutting the door behind me.
