Gabriel's POV ( Before he got there)
08/26/2017
"GABE!!! IT'S TIME TO GET UP! YOU MAY BE ALPHA BUT YOU STILL HAVE SCHOOL!" I hear my twin sister Jade holler outside of my door. Sometimes I want to kill her just because she is so punctual. Everyday at promptly 6:31am she is at my door yelling to wake me up.
Growling, I get up and slide some sweatpants on as I open the door. "Got it Jade I'm awake. Go get dressed, mom is probably finishing up breakfast." I say as I push my way past her to grab some breakfast.
She scurries off to finish her daily task of "beautifying herself" her words not mine. When I get downstairs there is a pack messenger there speaking to my mother and father hurriedly. When I get fully into the living room the messenger is on the way out and my mother is in tears.
"What happened?" I ask as I move to comfort my mother.
"Crystle's parents, your old Beta and his wife, passed away in a plane crash late last night." My father explains and I instantly regret asking. Hearing this news yet again sends my mother sobbing harder that she once was.
"Does she know?" I ask and father just shakes his head sadly. The messenger must be on his way to tell her now. I look at the time and decide to visit her at lunch, to fulfill my duty as an Alpha.
My father takes my mother from me and murmurs for me to get to school with Jade. I give him a nod and head to dress then drag Jade to school. A lot of the pack members think that I've abandoned Crystle, but that is as far from the truth as it can be. When we were younger we were inseparable. Everyone thought that we were going to be mates, but when I became Alpha I cast her away from me because I had grown to need her and in the beginning of our seperation I could barely focus, but now things are going much smoother, but that doesn't mean that the loss of her parents didn't make me worry about her Crystle has a history of self-harm, so I just hope that she can be strong enough to not act until I arrive to stop her.
I couldn't believe how antsy my wolf, Xavier, and I were until that lunch bell rang. The moment it rang I shot out of my chair and was in my truck before I could even realize that my Beta, Kyle, was following me. Ignoring him as he climbed in, i shot off on my way to Crystle's place.
When I pulled up to her place all I could smell was blood and lilacs. Not even bothering to turn the truck off I jumped out and ran into her house, where the mingled scents only grew stronger.
"Crys! Come on I need you to respond to me, even if it's in the mind link. Come on." I said as I burst my way through my house following the scents that lead to the bathroom. The door was wide open and I saw her lying there on the tile. The moment I laid eyes on her Xavier whimpers out one word, mate. In the next moment, I had picked Crystle up and was cradling her as close to my body as I could without hurting her, trying to get her to stay awake.
"Kyle go get the first aid kit out of the truck and call Marvin we need him immediately." I growl then turn all of my focus to Crystle.
"Crystle, please, keep your eyes open. You'll be alright I promise." I plead with her as she starts to close her eyes. Gradually, as my words make sense to her, her eyes begin to open once again.
"Good girl. You're safe now, I promise." I say once her eyes are fully open. At that point I began to check her wrists and found that they had already healed which was good.
"Alpha, Marvin and I are right outside ready to transport her to the pack hospital." Kyle links me. Closing the link, I carry Crystle outside and gently place her in Marvin's car before following them to the hospital.
Hallo, my beautiful Giraffes, I'm sorry that this update has taken a while, but I've been a little sick. I tried something new with this chapter so I hope you like that it's in Gabriel's POV. Bye-Bye
