*camerons pov*
I woke up the next day to Max. I don't know how. I crawled out of bed and walked over to my drawers and put on my favourite pastel hoodie and some tights.
I sneezed softly. "Bless you.." Max chuckled. I gasped. "S-sorry!" He winked at me. "You look cute~" I blushed and bit my lip. "Thank you.
I went and sat opposite him.
"How did you end up in my bed?"
"Well, I got cold."
"Uh-huh.." I laughed.
"Hey! It's not funny, Cameron!"
He leaned into me, our lips barely touching.
"I've been awake for ages.." He whispered. "Y-you didn't see me change did you?!" I stuttered.
He chuckled. "No, I didn't Cam."
He looked so handsome, I couldn't help myself. I leaned in and pressed my lips against his. His eyes widened, yet he kissed me back. Once we broke away I turned a deep red. "I-I'm so sorry Max, I-I didn't know what came over me and I-" He smiled and he pulled me into a tight hug. "It's okay Cam.."
*maxs pov*
I walked to the park, looking for "Cameron. After since the kiss, he had completely disappeared. I was worried. I found him in a tree, with a rope.
"Cameron, don't you fûcking dare.."
Tears welled up in his eyes.
"You mean so much to me.."
"A-as a friend!" He sobbed.
"I'm useless and dumb!" He cried harder. "No Cameron, you're not, I care about you!"
"W-why did you kiss me back?" He stuttered.
"Because I wanted to.." I say softly before noticing the blood through his hoodie.
His face paled and he fell out of the tree into my arms. I carried him home. As I placed him in his bed, I heard the 'ding' as a message being received. I looked at his phone.
"Zoe: did it all go well?"
I quickly put in his password, I wanted to know if this was the person causing all these problems.
I scrolled up and read the messages.
Zoe: Hi Cameron, it's Zoe from school."
Cam: Oh! Hi Zoe.

(A little further down)
Cam: Zoe I need your help!"
Zoe: spill kiddo.
Cam: I have a crush on my best friend, I think he sees us as friends.."
Zoe: awh, damn. What's his name?
Cam: Max, he's older.
Zoe: Cute, just talk to him about it.."
(2 hours later)
Cam: ZOE I KISSED MAX
Cam: I HATE MYSELF.
Cam: UGH
Cam: Zoe I feel like cutting again..(not delivered)

I closed his phone and put it back.
I snuggled up beside his cold body, and fell asleep next to the sleeping boy.
