a/n: y'all ganna hate me for this but this chapter earsed n I don't wanna rewrite but this is basically what happends.
yn comes to fund out that the man her mom is dating is Alberto's dad n brooks step father. they all go out to eat but heat raises as Berto and yn love for each other comes out. yn doesn't want her mom n James to get married bc that mean Berto n her are ganna be step brother n sister. but when her mom n James leaves to handle business. her best friend drea walks in. she tells yn that her n roc split up. Berto over hears it and starts flirting with drea in aware of yn feelings. drea flirts back not knowing who he means to yn. after a big blow out out side with yn and Berto he tells her how he's single and can do whatever he wants. that hurts her considering that she was about to express how she feels about him. she walks away upset on the verge of tears and that's when Berto realizes what he's done.. but its too late
