I am a chemical
I am a molecule
I am substancial and monumental
I am BIOMOLECULE

In living organisms, I am present
Carbon is my mother element
In life, it is the most versatile
It makes up almost all matters, but not water and many other

In four types, I am divided
Carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, and nucleic acid
In life, they are all important
But remember! Too much is insignificant

The carbohydrates always say,
"I provide your body with heat and energy,
In sugar, I am made,
In water, I have hatred"

Proteins do not contend
But they have their own famous line,
"Humans! Without me, you're nothing,
Without me, even your basic unit, will be just good-for-nothing"

Lipids have much words to say,
As concentrated fuel reserve of the body,
As the source of fat soluble vitamins,
They bear a statement that will surely live in your brain

"With water, I say, Touch me not,
To the tounge, I am tasteful
Within limits, I am dutiful
In excess, I am death"

Nucleic acid don't have much to say
They just stay quietly in DNA and RNA
Silence, but possess words that are written
"Protein, my dear, I am your friend"

Different names, the four has given
But human, bear in mind
They're a friend, not a fiend
I am biomolecule, their origin

I came from anything
I am made from various things
I was produced in many ways
Human, have you ever say:
"Biomolecules, who am I?
Who you are and what you are?
Do I really deserve you?
I am human, for you, I am thankful!"
