Chapter 22

I have no idea if I should kick her ass for being so unreasonable and immature and bothering me to hell with her cryptic disappearance or simply hug her relieved that she is safe.

I hunted each and every hallway, every restaurant, almost every room

Well hush about it because I found two uncles massaging each other, one aunt yelling at her husband for not being good in bed even though the palace was one hell of a romantic place, few girls gossiping about the groom being too snooty, guys jealous because the groom had the richest and most beautiful girl in the palace.

I however did not happen to meet the groom because he arrived while I was gone to the hospital.

Worst being bride's gran ma sharing sensuous tips to the bride for her first night. Best being she even explained her precautions should be followed and not to rush with the children till both of them were perfectly ready.

Amidst the hustle bustle my heart went out for the girl who went missing, had even asked all her relatives or tried to ask when they were not pulling me either to offer me something to eat, I wouldn't deny with all the delicacies they offered were pretty tempting or asking me to push a leg or dance on beats that went unrecognized because since dj was supposed to arrive at 7, they were trying to dance with the music from their mobile phones.

Hats off to them!

They don't miss a chance to entertain themselves.

Finally losing hope of getting her anywhere, her mobile declaring out of coverage area I might have taken a rash decision of either informing the Malhotras or reaching out to the cops when the sign board of gym towards right caught my eye.

Scolding myself for not realizing earlier and then patting myself on the back I crossed my fingers as I headed towards the gym, not failing to miss the empty pool area.

However the wet floor of the pool did notify the fact that in spite of being less than 4 degrees the pool had been used.

That was indeed a positive sign

But a heart felt truth

Sia was hurting

But there was no one else but she herself who was hurting herself

F#ck I cursed myself for promising her not to ask her questions about her therapy.

Now as I stare at her throwing a punch after another, I let her be and observe as he lets out her anger and frusttaion on the sand filled bag of the gym.

Her sports and shorts still wet from the pool now mixed with sweat.

She'd violated another rule of not wearing swim wear to the gym.

Neither did the staff bother to guide her or restrict her.

Not that she'd listen.

Again can't blame them

They were busy doing a pretty good job of handling all the guests from the wedding.

I tell you they are a pretty handful bunch.

I waited for Sia to finish but there was no sign of her backing up

So when I noticed her knuckles red and bruised I held her from her waist and pulled her back.

"Stop it Sia" I shouted.

She continued her punches in the air.

I turned her around and I wasn't spared from few of her punches.
