(39) Seeing Them Again

Aph's POV
Darkness was all I could see yet again. "Hello?" I begin to call out, desperate for someone to answer. "Please, someone!" No reply. Tears start to pour from my eyes as I try to comprehend why I'm here and who pit me here.
"Hello Aphmau." A booming powerful voice echos in the darkness. "Yes?" I question and wipe away my sorrow. "I had to bring you here Aphmau." The voice says. "Why?" I ask. "You started to lose sight on those before your new life." I furrow my eyebrows. "What does that mean?" I ask. "You must never forget the pain you went through." The voice says. "You must never forget those who were once very close to you."
I think back to each flashback. Each one had my father and Claire in it. "He will return." The voice tells me. My eyes go wide.

Those purple eyes.

"He abandoned us." I say. "He chose his work over his own family; leaving Claire and I alone." "He didn't know." The voice seems to just be telling me random hints at this point. "He didn't know what?" I ask. The darkness start to fade into lightens I can hear many different voices around me.

"I think she's coming to." I start to open my eyes, but the light around me is so bright that I cover my eyes with my hands.
Huh?
I feel a liquid touch my cold hand. Fully opening my eyes I see oil on my fingers.
Am I back?
"She's awake!" I hear Andy's voice yell. He then runs over and gives me hug. For some reason I can't stop crying. Andy let's go of me before having a concerned look take over his face. "What's wrong?" He asks. "I~" I wipe the oil away. "I resaw it all~" SF then walks over. "Resaw all of what?" She asks curiously. "Pretty much all of the worst points of my childhood~"
Alla except for one.
I don't mention that I didn't see the worst part of my entire childhood, the day my father officially left. I look to me left to see Jason lying on a metal table like mine, unconscious. "Is he okay~?" I ask. SF nods. "He freaked out a little while avoiding gave him something to calm down." I then feel something, more like someone, tugging on my dress. "Aphy." I look over to see it's Andi. "Yes sweety~?" Andi stares at me with her big purple eyes. "Are you my mommy now?" I blush. "Why~?" I ask completely flustered. "Because you and daddy are having kids." I nod. "Sure~" I say. "I'll be your mommy~" She smiles and Laurence grabs her hand.

So adorable.

I try to sit up but I'm doing so I feel my gears grind together. "Woah, woah,"SF lays me right back down. "Take it easy." She tells me. "You just went through a lot." I nod. "I need to replace a couple of your gears too." I don't fight back as SF takes some of the bolts out of my leg, arm, and side. "This is so I have access to your gears." She reassured me.
Her and Joey then begin to replace the broken gears. When they reach my leg, the same one I injured as a kid, they stop and look at each other. "What~?" I ask completely confused. "We have to replace a tube." Joey tells me. "And~...?" I ask still confused. "Replacing a tube is like replacing a vein, you can't do it." My eyes go wide with realization.

This isn't good.
I am fully aware of that now!

"Were going to have to patch it up and hope it doesn't come off or leak." I nod as they put some type of sticky square of fabric on it. "You're all patched up." SF tells me when I hear a moan come from the other table. I look over at Jason and see him start to roll around.
Suddenly his eyes flutter open and his hands go straight to his head. "What did you do to me~?" He asks SF, looking right past me. "We had to calm you down." Joey tells him. "Well maybe I-~" And that's when he sees me; his eyes go wide and he stops
mid-sentence. "Aph~?" He asks seeming like he doesn't believe I'm awake. I nod at him and then in a split second he's up and hugging me. "I didn't think you were going to live~" I feel oil drop onto my shoulder as he hugs me.
He then let's go and stares at my stomach. "You're pregnant~" My face goes pale. "Y-yeah~" I look down at the ground. "I'm going to be a father~!" I smile at Jason's excitement. "We're gonna have a kid~" He says to himself. My face goes pale again. "Three kids~" Everyone stops what they're doing to stare at me. "There are going to be three~" SF walks over to me with confusion written all over her face. "How do you know?" She asks. "Some person told me while I was unconscious~" I tell her. "I'm gonna have two boys and one girl~" There is silence for a minute. "I think you were just dreaming Aph." SF says. "There is no way you're having triplets." My smile goes away.

"I guess we'll have to see when they're born~"

Hey guys! I know it's been a while since I last updated but I've been working on how I wanted this chapter to go for a little while now. The book is getting closer to ending with each chapter.
I don't know exactly how many chapters there will be left in this book but I know it should come to a close within the next month hopefully. Hope you all enjoyed the chapter.
