The Appointment

Today was the day I could possibly be meeting The one and only Black Ribbon Angel. I woke up this morning with hope that all My wishes will be fulfilled. After work I went into my car and began driving to the clinic. I put on the radio to hear a song I believe was a sign of hope.

"Hold on, the end is near

All your tears will end

All your fears will fade away

Those long nights of loneliness is done

Now sunshine will fall upon you

Just wait ... Just wait until the end~"  (Not an actual song, purely made up)

I hold on to My steering wheel and move my head from side to side. Allowing the melody to engulf me.

Within a few minutes I pull up to the sign that reads:

St. James Clinic

Entrance ->

I walk into the clinic and sign in, waiting for them to call My name.

I sit down and I pick up a magazine , so I could calm my now fast paced heart. For some reason my heart feels like it can explode. I'm not sure if it is the nerves or excitement that is causing me to feel this way. I've just been waiting for this kind of opportunity for so long. A mistake like me should be punished and erased for this world. I've been nothing but a burden to myself and others. This opportunity is a once in a lifetime chance. Like being able to meet your celebrity crush, You're nervous but joyful at the same time.

Waiting for this is like kissing your love. It's sweet, but you know there's more to come. You're satisfied, but can't stop waiting for more. To progress and continue, never to cease.

So lost in my thoughts I become shaken when I hear a Manly voice calling my name out . A man with beautiful clear skin, no blemish in sight. Nice plump lips, straight black hair.. Black as the night. He quickly catches my full attention.

"Ms. Janae Smith?"

"Is there a Ms. Janae Smith here?" The man says looking up from a small folder of papers.

I stand up immediately and slowly walk my way towards him, with my nerves increasing with every step

I stand up immediately and slowly walk my way towards him, with my nerves increasing with every step. Here goes nothing...

"Oh I'm here"

"Hello, How are you Ms. Smith?"

"I'm fine and you?"

"I'm good" He takes a pause "Please come follow me, I will take you into the room."

I nod and follow him as he guides me into the hallways, which reminds me of a maze. How can he remember the way? This clinic is huge..
