"Who the hell names their camp Microphone?" I asked with beaming curiosity

I had recently been promised the trip of a life time, but I wasn't exactly convinced. I mean, randomly given an invite to some place? Doesn't sound very safe. I don't even know I was even accepted into this type of thing.

I heard Jason sigh in frustration. Jason was the one who gave me the paper about the camp thing and it's really bugging me. He really wanted me to go, since he wasn't able to go.

"C'mon man! Can you at least do it for me?" He asked

I grunted in response, as he ever so elegantly pulled out the puppy dog eyes. I groaned. Why did he have to do me like that? This is the worst part about having best friends.

They always know your weakness....

I groaned once again in frustration and sighed in defeat.

"Fine, I'll go! But you owe me!" I practically screamed at him.

I grabbed the paper out of his hand and stared at it. Something stuck out though. Each name of the people who also signed up had a title.

Rain Okumura The OC Artist

Emiko Hokama The Sadist

Celestia Primerose The Aristocrat

Miso Acheron The Cook

Just to name a few. I won't bother learning their names, because I know I'm just going to forget they ever existed in the first place. Just keep it cool, and by the end of the camp program, I'll be long gone from that place. That's for sure.

And that is how I got here. A camp in the middle of nowhere with 20 other people I don't know. But, on the paper there were only 16...I guess it's some sort of typo, but how could you miss off by four? That's exactly what we were thinking. That is, until we learned that the typo, wasn't exactly a typo. It was on purpose. The other four people, had disappeared in a span of only 5 days.

First Disappearance: Angie Williams
Moving from each stand looking at different assortments of decorations, wood, and paints, I decided with my teammate on what to get. Slightly disappointed that she chose all Lolita things, she began to decorate the large log with such quick movements that I was only able to stick 14 pompons while she stuck 50 in under a minute. That's real talent.

Each team had to decorate a pole, and some of the things used to decorate were ones you needed to work for. Quite surprising actually. I mean, what type of outdoor skill is this? Speed?

I sat by the pole as my team member kept coming and going to get the right decorations. While she did that, I stared at one group in particular. Angie Williams and Anise Rim. Anise seemed to care less about the Totem Pole activity, as she always made Angie get the materials.

I turned my head back around to see my teammate rushing back to the totem. All of a sudden, she dropped the pompoms, with a pale face.

I squinted my eyes, trying to figure out what she was doing, before I was snapped out of my thoughts, with a blood curling scream.

The piercing noise echoed throughout the forest clearing, and everyone's attention was turned to Angie, as a black tentacle dragged her into the bushes.

Many of us tried to help, but ended up with several bruises and injures.

As Angie's scream was no longer heard, we all scrambled and stampeded back into our cabins or the main building.

We all were panting and panicking of what was out there, unwilling to come out for a few days.

But somehow, people had still died. Boris took his own life, Alice was tricked into drinking poison, and Joey sleepwalked off a cliff.

Scared, we all built a wall around the main building, cabins, and most of the space with a wooden wall. Since everyone was willing to help, we finished the wall in under 2 days.

And here we are. Living in solitude, with a large wall around the camp. We have been here for a few days, and many of us had broken down, pummeled to despair, or were in denial. All contact of the outside world was scarce, and we could even barely get a signal.

On the bright side, we all got knit together tighter, we all become friends. But...

People were still in depression.

Celestia, once had a panic attack, and 4 of us had to hold her down. Her panic attacks were a normal thing, but they kept happening for often. Which scared me.

Rain, tried to climb the wall, drew on paper and slid it through the small cracks of the wall. On the watch tower, it's high enough to see a large pile of paper where she slid them through. She was desperate.

Emiko, was always in the corner, and once snapped a rabbits neck. Which terrified me.

For the next few days, things seemed to get calmer and we learned to adapt to our new lifestyle.

That is...until the wall had been destroyed one morning.

We all watched in fear as the wall crumbled down and was nothing more than a pile of wood.

And from then on, we knew we weren't safe.
