That Saturday morning,I learned that Naj would be there in my class.I was overyjoyed to know that he'll be there after all the days that I missed him.i was more then invigorated to know that he'll be sitting right in front of me again.Then he came......
As he took his seat in front of me,I felt that my heart was beating faster than usual.Then he talked to me about a sitcom named The Big Bang Theory.I said that the series was familiar to me.Then,he offered if I would like to watch the entire season 5 episodes in his notebook laptop.For reasons unknown even to me,I politely said NO.How stupid of me to refuse!! if I did say yes,we could've bonded over laughs and Physics.Anyways,while doing some drills on Abstract Reasoning,he suddenly turned to me and gave a mindteaser.
The way his eyes twinkled while he was telling me the teaser made my heart skip a beat.During the lunch hour,I pondered on that mindteaser.After a nice lunch,I saw him taking a short nap while listening to the radio on his cellphone. I silently smiled to myself and tiptoed to my seat so I won't wake him up.The mere moment when I saw him sleeping is enough to strengthen me for the whole afternoon.After the lesson,I waited for my classmates Cris and Angie,he needed to exit but I was partly blocking his path.He then pushed me gently aside so he could exit.Astounded,I walked like a starstruck person to Angie's Dad's car.Then I remembered what Ms.Ezrie said.She said that it would be Naj's last day today.
Saddened by that damn thought,I cheered myself up my looking up his FACEBOOK profile.It took me 4 woeful days just to find his surname so finding his profile is more than a consolation.Although today might be our last time to see each other,I'll surely find a way to meet him again :))
