Andy's POV

Eastwick Asylum, god the name sounds like such a cliche! but that's where I am. I was deemed mentally unfit for mainstream society and this is where they put all the people who are fucking crazy. 

Personally, I'm not sure why they put me here. sure I'm mute but not all mutes get sent to looney bins. They say I have depression but lots of people have depression and don't live in looney bins.

I was put in here yesterday evening and I was put in this room. Its fairly pleasant except for the white, what the fuck is up with the white everywhere! I sighed and looked out my window to see the sun rising.

I walked over to my wardrobe and grabbed a 'get scared' t-shirt as well as skinny jeans and some black converse.

I stared down sadly at my converse, they looked so weird without their laces.... you see here you can wear what you want but the catch is that a few things arn't allowed and one of those things are shoe laces, just in case we try to strangle anyone with them. They also don't allow studs, just in case we try to rip them of our clothes and cut a doctor or other patient (or ourselves).

I was about to get out of my room but I remembered that this place had rules and a schedule and I remember them all perfectly as the nurse told me them and one was:

All patients are woken at 7:00 AM and their doors unlock and it is impossible to leave before then.  

they had a lot of rules in this place, and each one was just a precise as the last and I hated it. stupid bull crap.

"morning everyone!" A way to chipper voice called through a speaker that was attached to the wall in the corner. "you may now leave your rooms and walk to the cafeteria! have a wonderful day!"

I rolled my eyes at the message and got up listening to the sound of my door unlock automatically.
