[Day 1]
[Campsite, 9.02 am]

"Hey! Do it properly! Is this your first time pitching a tent or what?"

"Erghhh I'm doing it! You don't have to yell. And FYI, it isn't my first time okay. I've done this many times before in middle school. It's just a bit different than what I can remember. Or maybe it's you the one who's messing it up by not reading the instructions properly with those problematic pair of eyes?!"

"What the-! I beg your pardon, miss. My eyes are perfectly fine and I did read the manual thoroughly. It did say that we should--"

"Lady and gentleman, do we have a problem? What's with all the ruckus? You might have forgotten that we're currently in the middle of the jungle. So, please respect the nature because as you can see, you're not the only one here, would you?" Those sudden words coming from the superior quickly shut their both mouths from opening again after saying 'Sorry, sir.' with their heads down.

After a few minutes doing their parts to put up the tent quietly with their superior watching over them, the tent is finally ready. They both walk their own way to meet their friend and away from the enemy.

"Hey Aileen, wassap? What's with the annoyed face?" A girl with a ponytail comes towards her.

"Oh, Hi Lyla. It's nothing." All the yelling made her lose the energy to comment anything even though many things are going on in her mind.

"Haha, I think I know just the thing. Come on. Don't think about it too much. Let's shake all the frustration off. It's time for lunch!!!" Says the girl that can already senses her best friend problem and try to distract it with her favourite, food~

"Yeah, you're right. Food, I'm coming~!"
They happily hold each other hands and run to the cafeteria.

[Cafeteria, 12.36 pm]

Two boys walk towards an empty table with their food trays.

"Man, I don't know what her problem is. She just keeps blaming everything on me."

"Girls. It's a common thing. We can never understand them."

"But you and Lyla seem fine. How do you do it?"

"Dude, come one. It's James we're talking about. Haha, kidding. You know I knew her since kindergarten. Our parents are good friends. Plus, our houses are just across the street. You can't compare my relationship with yours since you only met her for a month." Says the other guy while sitting down across his friend.

"Me, her, relationship? How can fighting since the first day we met until now be called as a relationship? Don't be ridiculous. Just eat. I don't want to ruin my appetite by thinking about that cuckoo girl anymore." He finishes his sentence with a big spoon of rice in his mouth.

While eating, he suddenly remembers 'the day'. It all started last month. A new girl came to the college. And to everyone surprises, she was Mr. Abdul's, the most respected lecturer at the campus, niece. He's the type of person that always keeps his strict face everywhere he goes. And if something bad happens at the campus, he's the one that they call to settle it. Every each of his words are very meaningful, convincing and building that would change the troublemakers attitudes in a night. However, students that have classes with him know that he's actually a warm hearted person. He always tells them funny jokes in the middle of teaching that allow the students to learn in ease.

The problem occured when all the lecturers always ask Mr. Abdul's niece, Aileen to answer the questions. This made the former most loved student, Adam feels jealous. So, everytime the lecturer gives questions, Aileen and Adam will fight over it. And when one person answers, the other will either corrects the answer or elaborate it to show who's better.

This doesn't stop in the lecture room. One time, they fought over the last apple at the cafeteria. Then there was dodgeball fight over two teams with them as leaders. They both just fight to win whenever they meet and whatever the circumstances. The whole campus knows about this. But they let it happens all the time because the students love watching them fight like childrens and since there's no damage or physical fights ever happen, the school claims them as competitive and it's a good thing to increase each other's comprehension.

Back to reality. The Sports and Recreation Society is holding a 3 days camping trip at Gunung Ledang for the sophomores. Aileen and Adam join in with their friends not knowing each others' participation. But when they bumped while putting their bags in the bus, everyone knows that this camp will be a chaotic yet fun one.
Then there came the first show. Adam and Aileen had to put up the tent together because the instructors partnered them up. Don't know why tho. Whatever the reason was, pass is pass. Now, they have to prepare for challenges that waiting for them in the future and may the odds be ever in their favour~
