Eren's POV:
My eyes peel open, broad daylight shining into my bedroom and my alarm clock buzzing rapidly. I turn over a shut the alarm clock off, sitting up after. I get dressed for school like any other day. My mom calls me down for breakfast, so I walk downstairs trying not to wake up my always-angry father, Grisha
"Morning mom"
I say still half asleep, I haven't brushed my hair either so it's a fluffy mess, earning a small laugh from my mom
"Morning Eren"
She said, ruffling my hair
We sat at the small round table in the kitchen, eating breakfast, once I was finished I took my plate to the sink
I still didn't bother to brush my hair out properly so I run my fingers through my hair a bit,
"Good enough"
I throw my backpack over my shoulder
"Bye mom!"
I say before leaving for school.
I must admit I don't like the route to school, I have to pass this creepy old abandoned house, I've been walking this way for at least the 3 years I've been in the school I go to. It's the only route there anyway, no shortcuts or anything. I stop walking when I approach the gloomy house, standing in front of it, completely intimidated by the whole picture. Something was...drawing me in. I feel like I need to go inside...no! I need to carry on walking, it's just my imagination. I turn away from the house and continue walking until I get into school. I meet up with two of my friends when I get there, Armin and Mikasa.
"Hey guys!"
I say, a bright smile on my face
"You are far to happy for a Monday..."
They sigh and say at the same time
"Oh shut up"
I giggle
"Anyway, I have to head to my first class, cya!" I wave and walk down to my first class, science, at the top floor of the 6-story building.
I walk into Ms.Zoë's classroom and take a seat. There is still around 5 minutes until class starts and everyone is talking with their friends. I don't know many people in this class, apart from the two people who I can see come of over towards me. Jean and Conny.
"Hey Eren! Do me a favour will ya?"
Said jean
"Hm?"
I respond wondering what they were talking about
"Just say you'll do it first"
Said Conny
"Fine, I'll do it, now tell me"
I say, not knowing what I am going to get myself into next
"We are going to this abandoned house, it's meant to be haunted but you can only see the demon if you have three people so we need you to come, and there is no backing out of it because you already told us you are gonna do it!"
Jean said
"Wait what?! I won't even be able to make it past the front gate, you know I'm a scaredy cat T^T" I say "wait..is it the one near my house?"
"Yeah" Conny says
Crap...no no no. I can't go there, anywhere but there, I should really think things through before I do these things
"F-fine..I'll meet you guys after school" I say hanging my head, today was not going to be fun.
It's not long before our teacher Ms.Zoë skips into the room
"Good morning class!" She says ,as always, full of joy that is somehow scary in a way.
Ms.Zoë starts teaching and I doodle in my notebook not paying attention much, I know all of this already
"Eren!" She says in her crazy tone, "for the last time, do you know the equation for photosynthesis??"
