Tears welled up in my eyes as I watched my best friend walk down the aisle. Her beautiful white dress trailing behind her. She was about to marry the man I've loved for so many years but never got.

I looked over at Tom who had tears in his eyes as he looked at her. I wish I wasn't so... That doesn't matter. Right now we need to focus on her. This is her day we don't need to ruin it.

She got to the her spot and took Tom's hand into hers. During the whole ceremony I held back the tears.

"You may now kiss the bride."

Tom dipped her down into a kiss. How romantic. He picked her back up and they ran down the aisle.

The reception was beautiful.

There were lots of people including the press there. Everyone was inside dancing and partying. Me. I was outside sitting on the edge of the balcony sipping champagne.

"Y/N? Why are you out here all alone? Why aren't you inside?" I heard Harrison say behind me. I looked out over the city. "What's wrong?" He asked.

"I'm just feeling remorseful." I said sipping on more champagne.

"Why?" He sat next to me feet dangling above the city.

"I've always loved Tom. I had a chance to be with him, but I was too... You know what it doesn't matter." I took another sip from the bottle as a tear ran down my cheek. "As long as he's happy with her I'll be alright. It's not like I can go back and change things." I looked at the city below. "Would things change if I jumped?"

"W-What?" He stuttered.

"Would things take a different course if I jumped off this ledge right now?" I looked up at Harrison. His eyes filled with fear with a mix of sorrow.

"Y/N you're drunk. Let's just--"

I stood up and looked down. That's a long way.

"Y/N!!" Harrison yelled taking my arm. "You can find someone else. I promise. You have so much to live for."

I sighed. "That's what they all say Haz. It was nice knowing you. Tell Tom I'm sorry and that I always loved him." I said. I yanked my arm and jumped.

"Y/N!!!!!"

When I was in the air I felt so free. Like I could just fly away. I wish that I was the one walking down that aisle. In a white dress and Vail. But it's to late I was always on the sidelines watching.

I got closer and closer.
