Chapter Five

Deep breaths in

And out

Chise focus on her breathing to relax her trembling body after that unsightly moment of nausea. What was that all about? Chise looked up at Silky, looking quite shock but quickly snapped out of it to retrieve her tooth brush and a towel." Thank you" Chise Shyly smiled," I probably ate something weird yesterday before we came". After cleaning herself up, she headed back towards the kitchen where Silky had already prepare a tea from the herbs from the garden." Silky?" Chise murmured softly, "could you not tell Elias about this, please?" she looked up from her tea to a rather confused banshee "AAA I-I-I-I mean I dont want his to w-worry about something so little thats all" she panicky stuttered. Silky smiled in agreement and returned to baking the French toast, although Silky respected her dear friends wish, she couldnt help but wonder.

Elias had already walked down with Ruth to meet everyone just about ready to eat breakfast. The atmosphere was sweet, joyful and warm, especially with Chise telling her friends all about the herbs and plants she learned about in Peru, trying to forget the mornings inccident.

Breakfast ended, and everyone proceeded with their own activities. Elias was in his study getting back on work that had piled up during the honeymoon, Silky was doing so light cleaning, while Chise and Ruth were outside taking a break from their own work.

The fresh air made Chise feel so much better from this mornings incident, she had missed the trees here, they were always comforting and peaceful. "Hey look!" Chise spotted some mushroom in the distance, running towards them she suddenly felt nauseous and weak losing her balance and reached out towards a tree for support. "CHISE!" Ruth ran towards her as he felt her body go through the nausea from their bond, "Are you alright?" he helped he take a seat under the tree. "Yeah, Im fine just probably something I ate the other day" Ruth was a little worried but accepted her answer. This doesnt feel the same as just an upset stomach, this felt a bit different Ruth thought as he watched Chise compose herself Ill have to keep an eye out on her, I should also tell Silky about this. Chise wasn't really worried, surprised yes, but not worried, she smiled these things dont just go away quickly, Ill be over soon.

Days passed, and as if it were a miracle, Chise managed to hide her episodes from Elias, whom started to act suspicious when she would suddenly go off running to the restroom just to come out saying she had forgotten something or she needed to go super quickly or when she would mix random food together. But one beautiful cloudy morning, as the sunrise was piercing the clouds Chise jumped out of bed and ran towards the rest room, scaring Elias awake, CHISE! with a panicked thought ran towards the restroom opening the door to see his wifes tired body puking in the toilet. Oh no! he saw Chise quietly panicked, what do I tell him?!

"Chise."

Elias softly hugged her, "why wont you tell me when youre not feeling good?" he said in a rather sad tone. This tugged at her heart, "I didnt mean to hurt you, Im sorry for keeping it a secret for so long, I didnt want to make you worry" she hugged him back. "If you dont tell me, that makes me even more worried my love" he kissed her forehead. He helped her up and softly guided her to the sink to wash up. "I had already made herd teas to help with my nausea and weakness I've been feeling but it keeps coming back, I dont feel sick so I really dont know whats going on"

KNOCK KNOCK!

Elias walked over to the door to find Silky with a small bag holding a small box inside. She silently walked over towards the restroom towards Chise, "hey Silky I-" Chise was interrupted with Silky pushing the small bag with a box into her hand, and with that she pushed Elias out of the restroom, closing the door behind her. "Silky, whats the matter?" Elias asked a bit more worried than before. She simply smiled and walked out of the room.

Five minutes.

Ten minutes.

Fifteen minutes passed.

Elias was getting worried has he heard absolutely nothing in the restroom where his wife was. What was in the box the Silky had? Was it medicine? Food? Ugh, shes been in there too long! As Elias got up from the bed and headed towards the door to the restroom, where as he was just about to open it, Chise, with tears in her eyes had opened it first. "Elias." She whispered holding what appeared to be a little plastic stick in her hand.

"I'm Pregnant"

AAAAAAA!!! I'M SO EXCITED TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!

I was on a roll with writing this chapter and the last one, so I hope to continue to write at least maybe another chapter or two before school starts again next week since I will be drowning in homework, stress and the strong urge to jump off a bridge.
