Prologue

"Good morning, hawthorne high!"
I said to myself while walking my way to school. I can't contain my excitement. It's the first day of class, and I'm in junior biatches!I arrived a bit earlier at school but I'm glad it's already packed with students. I hurried to our own hang spot near the cafeteria only to find that none of the guys are there yet. I better message Effie now.
COULD U HURRY UR WAY 2 SCHOOL? M HERE ALREADY. ALONE. C U! ;)
x ASo the snail that she is, Effie's still not here! Good thing, my Mattie and the rest of the gang arrived already.
Okay. Fine, Matt's not really mine (how I wish.) Matt's been my friend since we're freshies. Jared and Flint is included in the "Matthew package".
"Hi guys! Haven't seen you for forever!"
I half-screamed as they approach our bench.
"Good morning to you too, princess of hawthorne high." Greeted Jared, followed by a fist bump.
"I never knew that 3 days means forever in girl's dictionary, Ash. Did you miss me that much?" I nearly choked at Flint's statement, or joke. The thing is, you'll never guess when Flint's telling a joke or just being plain stupid.
I stuck out my tongue at him. "Really, Flint? That's how you ruin the very beginning of my wonderful junior year? Please try harder." I turned my attention to Matt. He gave me a warm smile as he drop his bag on our bench, and I smiled back at him. Finally, Effie arrived at about 15 minutes before the first bell rang. Gave short hellos with the guys and we had a little girly chat before we head to our lockers.
While we were walking, I think it's Flint that I heard about spotting a new girl in our school. Pfft! Better be not as gorgeous as I am.
