Kicked Out

"That's it! I am done with you bastard! said the lady in a furious tone.

"M-miss, i'm sorry, i really am!" the petite girl replied.

Without another word, the girl was kicked out of the orphanage. She stumbled on her way out of the doorstep, with pure terror on her face and heart pounding almost out of her chest. 

'Lookie here what mess i brought myself into! Why can't i learn my lesson already?'

the girl sat down on the street and hugged her feet, trying to keep the cold away. Sometimes strangers would pat her head, give her money or food, nothing like love, home or sympathy. Her thoughts ran like a wild horse inside her head, drifting her to another world of fantasies and dreams. She saw a beautifully decorated table with lots of food, a caring family, warm clothes and a- 

She felt a cold hand touch her shoulder:

"Hello, young lady? May I ask, are you lost?" said the stranger in a warm tone.

"Um, well, yeah, kinda.." she stammered on her words.

"Well, come to my watchshop, alrightie?" the man said.

Without a word she stood up and nodded as a yes, the man smiled at her and waved to left. She ran as he walked a little slower behind me, pointing at directions to go. When they arrived at the shop, it was something around afternoon. The man opened the shops door and let the petite girl inside. There was clocks on every wall, and the piano music filled the room. The girl twirled around the room for a good while, before she stopped to ask a question:

"Hey! What's your name, Mister?" the girl asked full of newfound energy.

"I'm Marco, what's your name, miss?" Marco asked in a grandfather sounding tone.

"I'm Aliza" Aliza said in a light tone.
