I sit against a tree my head leans against it as I try to not let the tears fall. I take in a deep breath and let go. I have five minutes to get to class, I have to hurry. I sit up and throw my bag over my shoulders. I fidget with my long sleeves trying to take the longest I can. I really don't want to go but I have to, I have to suck it up and face him. I quickly wipe my eyes and start walking my shoes crunching against the fresh snow as I try and control my breath. Each exhales releases a cold puff of air that I can see. I try and distract myself as I pretend to be a dragon. No-ones there I'm not afraid to be myself. I keep exhaling pretending to blow this town away. Sometimes I let my imagination get the best of me. Ma always says that I'm in my own little world and she is envious of my imagination. Honestly, sometimes my imagination is a coping mechanism, I just imagine all my problems going away flying away with the cold winter wind. I finally snap back to reality when I realize my hood is slipping off my head I try and adjust it but eventually just take it off and place it back on. My hair was a bit frizzy on top I can feel my hair against the back of the hood. I eventually reach school the large campus seemed almost intimidating, I swiftly enter the building as I left a slip of paper so the doors wouldn't lock behind me when I left. I went through the hallways trying not to be spotted I reach the room #218 I stare at the number for a bit knowing he was in there. I slowly creaked open the door as peek it I am greeted with a snappy voice. "Why are you late Ms. Aven?" she was on the border of yelling at me she leaned forward eyes followed her voice. My face swiftly turns red my cheeks burn up and I look over and everyone is staring at me. "Urm, I-I don't know. I-I lost track of time. It won't happen again". My stumbling seemed to annoy her. She rolls her eyes, "Come in and sit next to Lucas.". Good timing, I quickly go in and sit next to Lucas. I promptly get a headache almost exactly when I sit down I shout in pain, I start to rub my temples on the sides of my head trying to somewhat lower the pain. I fall to my knees as I do so images start flashing. Things I have never seen before then in a flash I am greeting with a sharp ringing my ears feel like their bleeding my head aching. When I am finally able to open my eyes everyone is surrounding me. I hear a "Are you okay?" and "Dramatic much?" coming from different students. Lucas is by my side, he holds me up. "Hey, We should get you to a nurse." I quickly pull away, "No. I'm fine." I try and stand up but can barely keep my balance, Lucas quickly helps me and starts to walk me to the nurse. All of it is a fuzz when I am finally able to finally recall anything I am doing I am walking back to class. "W-what's going on..?" I asked Lucas but he just said: "What do you mean?". I am confused "I just...I just fainted did you not see..." Lucas starts laughing and pats me on the back "What do you mean nerd. Lunch just ended and you did not faint.". He sees my confusion and suddenly his happy expression fades to a more concerned look he stands in front of me, whats' going on Lynn...you're making me worried." He placed his hands on my shoulders "Lynn?"
