RECAP: "Josh why did you pull that this morning? She was scared out of her mind I could see it in her eyes. You had to know what her reaction was going to be." My eyes watered just at the thought of what happened. "Jacob, I knew one of you guys were going to catch her that's why I did it. Matter of fact I knew it would be you because the thought of her getting hurt almost kills you the way it does me." I was filled with so many questions. "Josh you can't just risk her like that though no matter how much it might kill me. I know you don't like what I told you last year, but you can't just throw her around like that. She's like my little sister to you know." I saw Josh get up and walk over and stand in front of Jake. "She will never be your little sister Jake. She better not ever find out about what you old me Jacob." I was dumbstruck what the h*ll was it that they weren't telling me? I slowly finished descending the stairs. END OF RECAP
"Hey Syd, I thought you were upstairs asleep." Josh seemed so innocent when he said this. I just stood there and looked at them back and forth, but neither of them gave anything away about what they were talking about.
"What were you guys talking about Josh? When I was coming down the stairs I heard you and Jake talking." I was way past curious I really needed to know. They both looked at each other and shrugged. "You both know what I'm talking about. You two are hiding something from me and I want to know what it is." I was getting mad now, but there was no way they were going to play dumb with me. Josh never hid anything from me, he always told me everything. "Come on Joshy, please tell me." He looked up at his nickname.
"You know what happened earlier today with you calling me that Sydney. You don't want me to do it again do you?" I smirked at him. "Josh you wouldn't really hurt me even if your life depended on it. So just tell me what you guys were talking about, Joshy." Josh got up and walked over to me. The next thing I know I'm hanging over Josh's shoulder being carried upstairs. I 'm screaming at the top of my lungs all the way up. When I see where we are at I start pounding on his back.
"Josh you better put me down, I'm not playing this time." I look up, and see that we are now on the balcony of his bedroom. I see Jake coming in behind us. I stick my hand out to him and mouth 'please'. He looks down at me and smiles. I'm starting to get an uneasy feeling in my stomach.
"Jacob why don't you help me get her over? I know I can't do it alone seeing as I know she's going to be kicking and screaming the entire time." I looked up at Josh as if he has gone crazy. Jake looks down at me then winks. "Josh why don't you go get some rope so we can tie her up? That way she won't be slapping and kicking us that bad." I looked up at Jake with pure hatred in my eyes.
"Good idea Jacob! Here you hold her until I get back." Next thing I know I'm being handed off to Jake still hanging upside down." I slapped his back and screamed and soon enough I was crying huge tears. He pulled me off his shoulder and lowered me down in front of him. "Syd, why are you crying?" I never thought I would ever meet someone so stupid in my entire life. I looked up at him in astonishment.
"Well for starters Jake, my brother and his best friend are planning on throwing me over the balcony and letting me hang there for a little bit. Now I don't know about you, but seeing as I'm a really small seventeen year old I can't fight off the two of you no matter how hard I might try." He put his finger under my chin and lifted my face so I was looking him right in the eyes. "Sydney, do you honestly think I would ever let him do something like that to you? I mean you know the only thing he's going to do is pick you up under your arms and let you hang off the side. He would never in a million years drop you. Not that I would let him anyways, you being as freakishly small as you are." I punched him in the arm.
