The things I can't remember

Chapter 1

-Ivy's P.O.V-

I woke up in a plain room, I felt a slight pain in my head, I tried to think back to what happened but... I couldn't remember.

"Who am I?" I heard myself say in a quiet, soft voice . I touched my head I felt something that wasn't my hair

"Bandages?" I asked myself. I slowly got out of the slightly uncomfortable bed and went to the bathroom, I looked into the mirror above the sink. A small girl with long Brown hair, emerald green eyes, and bandages rapped around her head stared back at me. My mind was spinning with questions, 'Who am I?!' 'What happened to me?!' and thousand more swirling and spiraling in the depths of my mind. The door of the plain hospital room opened to reveal a couple, a man and woman. The woman walked over to me.

"Thank heavens your awake, Ivy we were so worried!" The woman said with tears in her eyes. "Who are you? Do I know you?" I asked the woman. The woman's smile disappeared, her once happy smile was replaced with a face full of tears.

"Ivy, sweetheart, are you okay?" The man asked me, putting a hand on the woman's shoulder to calm her down.

"... Ivy.... Is that my name?" I asked them quietly. At that point the doctor came in, asked the couple to leave for a bit, and asked me a mass of questions.

"What's the last thing you remember?" This was the doctors final question.

"Waking up in this bed.." I answered. The doctor called the couple back in.

"Mrs. Floral I'm sad to say, it seems that you daughter, Ivy..." The doctor paused

"has amnesia, she doesn't remember the accident or anything before then." She finished. The woman quietly sobbed. 'Accident? What accident?' I thought.

"I'm sure after some time she'll remember but until then you'll have to help her remember the best you can." The doctor said. We stayed at the hospital for a while to make sure the "Accident" I was in left no permanent damage, of course I had no clue what they where talking about. Later we rode in a car to the couples (who were apparently my parents, Susan and Martin Floral, and I was Ivy) house. The car ride was only around ten or so minutes, my parents talked to me all throughout the ride to help me regain my lost memories, of course nothing came back to me. Soon we were at the house, to my surprise it was actually really big, and not because I was short for my age. My parents unlocked the door. The inside of the house was beautiful.

"Ivy, your room is upstairs, why don't you go change while we make dinner, your name is on your room's door." My father said.

"ok..." I responded taking off my shoes and walking up the steps. I looked for a minute, then I saw a door that had a sign with my name in glittery paint. I opened the door. My room had stuffed characters from anime, posters of different anime, a bookshelf full of different manga, and pictures of me and other people. I opened the closet, and grabbed a black t-shirt that had a fire and star pattern that read #NALU FOR LIFE. I felt a sharp pain in my head.

*Flash Back*

"IVY!" Two girls yelled at the same time.

"Mari! Angel! You're finally here!"I yelled back. The two were Identical except for their hairstyles. "Sorry but look the T-shirts we ordered finally came in!" Angel said.

"Don't they look cool?!" Mari asked.

"No, they don't look cool...." I started, the two of them looked sad. "THEY LOOK AMAZING! THESE WERE SO WORTH THE 2 MONTH WAIT!" I yelled grabbing one of the shirts. Mari and Angel looked so happy. We all hugged each other.

*End of Flash Back*

"Mari .....and .....Angel.... they are my best....friends...." I said. I carefully put the shirt back, and change into a simple outfit (Look above).

"IVY! DINNER'S READY!" My mother yelled. I went down stairs and sat at the table. "So did you remember anything Ivy?" My mother asked.

"Yes, I remembered Mari and Angel, when we got our Nalu shirts." I said. My mother smiled. "That's good, also we made your favorite." Mom said. Dad put something on my plate. "Chicken Quesadillas." Dad smiled. I picked it up biting it, the pain in my head returned.

*Flash Back*

"No way I don't wanna eat chicken!" I said. "If you don't you'll never get any taller." Dad said. "I don't care!" I said crossing my arms. The next day at dinner... "Alright we made Quesadillas" mom said. The Quesadillas looked a little strange to me but I took a bite. "THIS IS DELICIOUS !!" I yelled. My parents started to laugh. "What's so funny?!" I asked. "There's chicken in there." mom said through her laughter. "Y-YOU TRICKED ME!!!" I yelled. "Put you love it don't you?" Dad asked. "Y-yea..." I said.

*End of Flash Back*

"you tricked me to try these." I mumbled. The rest of the day went on eventually it was time to sleep. I changed into some pajamas and laid down on the bed. "soft..." I said before I fell asleep.
