Women that are thrown over the side of a ship don't always die. Sometimes, they and their children survive, just in another form. They get given a second chance.
And they're also given someone to spend that second life with.
Hey guys, it's me, with yet another book on Taekook.
But this one has an intro. Why? This doesn't usually happen. Normally, it's straight into the prologue or the first chapter.
Well, the plot of this book (as I've planned it and envisioned it) does have a few things that might turn out to be sensitive subjects for some people, so I'd like to prewarn you of some of the stuff that will potentially appear, so that you can make the decision whether to read it or not, based on that. I don't want any of you to feel like you haven't had adequate warning for some of the stuff that might make you upset or unhappy.
Of course, there is angst in every story I write, and you're supposed to feel for the characters in those moments. But what I mean here is that I don't want to open any wounds and make someone genuinely feel worse about themselves due to something in their life. The story isn't harrowing, so don't be too concerned, but I still thought it'd be worth this sort of intro. Hopefully you'll understand what I mean.
The concept idea itself is partially borne from something I saw on the Discover page on Instagram one day:

They never said I couldn't make it Taekook, so I did. And credit to that person for the original idea as well, I hope they don't mind me using it.
This book contains the following:
- very dominant Kookie
-very submissive Tae
-Namjin - Yoonseok - Jimin x Original female character
- the concept of claiming - the concept of soulmates and stuff (that'll be explained in the book itself and I don't wanna spoil too much so just go with this at this stage)
- Political Revolution stuff (this is the main reason for the warning tbh)
- Sea animals (sharks and stuff, not really a trigger I would think but just a random detail)
- my writing.
If I think of anything else, I'll put it here or something, but this is all I can think of right now. I hope that all of this doesn't stop you from wanting to read this, but I feel like that's your decision as to what you're comfortable with.
I don't think it's my place to choose what people might not necessarily agree with or indeed like, so if at any point you want to stop reading for whatever reason, you're perfectly capable of doing so. This is partially because this is also my book and so I think I should have some creative licence to make the plot interesting or whatever I feel fits. If you don't ship the side ships, then that's fine. They're what I wanted to put in, as they fit with my ideas and the way this book works.
I hope you enjoy the story, and the ideas behind it. And that it doesn't cause anyone any problems.
That was long and probably way too accusing for an intro (plz forgive me I didn't mean it in a mean way I swear), but I'm hoping you get what I mean and aren't already offended.
