I looked out the window of my mom's car. "Becky?" my mom said. "ya mom?" "are you okay honey?" my mom asked. "yeah. I'm alright." I said. I lied. I wasn't alright. I was never alright. Switching schools since grade one because I got bullied every second of my life. I sighed and tried to take a nap. I woke up to the sound of my mother's voice. "Becky? Becky? Time to wake up!" We're here!" She sounded excited. "What..?" I said. Still discombobulated from sleeping. "We're in New York!"She yelled, right into my ear. I finally clued in. "yay!" I said sarcastically. I wasn't very excited to go to boarding school far away from home, especially with my brother. My mom was helping me unload the car. I walked into my dorm room -room 23- I guess it was an okay looking room, carpeted floors, and 2 beds against the wall. My mom started putting my clothes in the dresser drawers. "Mom I can unpack myself" I said, with a laugh. "Okay..but can I at least make your bed?" my mom asked. "Seriously mom, I'm fine." I said. " Okay" She said. " Your dad and I are going to miss you so much." "I'm going to miss you too." As soon as she left, my brother came barging into my room. "Hey short stuff!" He yelled. " Hi Gary" I said. My brother Gary was the biggest bully of them all. He always used to push me around and call me names. That's what siblings do. But Gary took it TOO far. The next day I woke up late, obviously because my brother un plugged my alarm clock, so I got dressed quickly grabbed an apple and ran out of my room to my first class. Math. Ugh, of course it had to math. I found my seat, I was behind the most good looking guy in our class, his name was Tim. Our teacher, Mr. Roberts, was probably one of the worst teachers I have ever had. He hardly cares about any of us, and he chooses favorites.
