Three weeks have passed by and Lex was returned safely to her home in Manhattan
along with a couple new phone numbers. The man who shot her felt very guilty so he would check in on her every night. Well if he could. And Lex understands obviously they are both adults with jobs.

As she walks around her apartment, Lex waters her plants and succulents while also pouring some clean non fertilized water into her Bearded Dragons bowl.
"Don't need to stick your tongue out at me! I'm just giving you water sorry for disturbing your nap." Lex talked back to the lizard who just glared.
"Ungrateful." Lex huffed as she made her way to the kitchen sink. Dumping out the remaining water from both watering cans. Heading upstairs she grabbed the rubber ropes and stuck an end in her door and shut it. Grabbing the two ends Lex started her Home shoulder therapy. She agreed that instead of going to the actual PT office she can do it at home in comfort.

Pulling using her bad shoulder Lex gritted her teeth. It wasn't painful but the discomfort was definitely there. Working her arm for a couple minutes Lex stopped and dropped her arm to her side. Grumbling she stretched out her now sore arm as she walked to get water. Sipping on her ice cold water from her fridge when she hears her door bell ring. Confused on who was at her door Lex shrugged and walked to her door.

Standing on her tippy toes Lex looked out the peephole to see Clint. Smiling Lex unlocked her door. "Hi." Clint said looking down at Lex. Clint was a little bit taller than her but not by much.
"Hi what are you doing here? Sorry that sounded rude.." Lex said turning a bit red at her awkwardness. Chuckling Clint shook his head.
"It's fine I get what you mean, but may I come in I need to talk."
Nodding "yeah of course." Lex opened her front door so Clint could enter. Shutting it behind him, she quickly locked it back up.

Leading the way Lex guided them to her living room that was just off the kitchen.
Sitting down she patted the cushion next to her indicating  Clint to sit down.
"What brings you all the way here?" Lex asks as she adjusts her legs into 'cross cross apple sauce' form.

"This is going to sound crazy." Clint slowly said looking Lex straight in the eyes. "How crazy? 'Cause I can only do so much." Lex raised her eyebrows in confusion.  "I think your pretty." Clint said.
A dead silence loomed over the two adults. Lex who was stunned didn't know what to say. "I um okay thanks you too." Lex said before she couldn't even think about her words. Before Clint could respond to her inhuman response Lex took off to the stairs running as fast as she could. She reached her bedroom door and slammed it. Letting out a string of curse words Lex plopped down in her bed in embarrassment.

Clint however was just stunned. He told the girl that he couldn't get it his mind that she was pretty and she told him "you too" and proceeded to run away.
"They don't teach you this in training." Clint said to himself as he got up and walked himself up stairs.

Knocking on a door, which Clint was hoping was her bedroom. Clint heard slight sniffling. "Lex.." he softly called out making Lex ground loudly startling Clint.
"Can you just leave please and let me die in peace?" Lex said frustrated at how stupid she is.

"Now why the hell would I do that?" Clint retorted back making Lex slam her head against her door on accident "ow." Lex mumbled as she comforted her head.
Sighing Lex stood up and opened the door to see Clint standing there looking like a model.

"Because I'm stupid." Lex said
"Well if your stupid, then I must be Cupid, get it because I shoot arrows." Clint snickered at his little joke.
"But in all honestly Lex I cant get you out of my head. You're like a drug and now I've had my taste but I want more." Clint continued making Lex turn redder than the blood that spilt out of her arm when she was shot.

"Yeah maybe it's not going to work out but right as adults can we try. In my line of work it's hard to find somebody who likes me and supports me." Clint said.

"Who said I liked you?!" Lex said bewildered.
"You don't have to, your bright red ass face is giving it away Lex."
"Damn it.." Lex turned away completely embarrassed. Boys where not her strong suit, hell People were not her strong suit, hence the reason she walked up to a criminal.

"Lex." Clint said taking a step closer who didn't move, as now her breathe hitched in her throat.
Looking down at her tiny demeanor Clint felt like her was going to throw up. He never had this much balls when it came to women.
"Whenever I see you I just don't care about anything else, work, shooting, anything. I just want you, I just want to be somebody to you." Clint said with sincere eyes making Lex smile.

"Yeah?" She managed out almost choking on her own spit. Clint nodded and took her hands "Yeah, so what to you say?"
"Say to what?" Lex asked confused as she must have forgot what he said as she was to busy melting into his touch as he held onto her hands.

"Do you wanna maybe go on a date with me?"
