Chapter 6:Number One Hero(A Father's Day Special)

"Finally making up with your dad?" Hades asked.

"Yeah,thanks to you."

"Guess my words bit into you,huh?"

"Yeah."

We walked until we reached my dad's home.Reluctantly,I knocked.The door opened.It was my dad's new girlfriend.

"Say,is my dad there?I just wanna talk to him."

"Wait,I'll call him.Come in for the while."

"You guys comin'?It's dangerous outside."

"Nah,we'll keep an eye on Zeus."Poseidon and Hades said in unison.

"Okay."

I felt a little uncomfortable leaving those kids outside.My dad came,and he was wearing his usual clothes,the way I saw him while growing up.

"Hey dad,I'm sorry for everything.I just wanna tell you I love you."

I told my dad everything I heard from the three,including my godly mom.

My dad looked startled.

"Dad,I'm leaving,I already said what I wanted to.Bye."

"Wait,son,I also wanted to apologize...for everything.I'm sorry I didn't tell you the whole truth of your identity."

"It's okay dad.I'm fine with that."

"Thanks son.Hey,wait here,I'll give you something your mom gave me before she left me."

He went upstairs.He came back with a watch.He gave it to me.

"Your mom told me to give you that when you've reached the right age.Take it."

"Thanks dad,"

"I love you son.Don't you ever doubt that.Sorry for not telling you everything."

"It's okay dad.I've always thought of you as my number one hero." I smiled.

"By the way,dad,what does this watch~"

I was interrupted by a terrible scream.

The kids.

"Maybe that sound's the perfect thing to try those on.Go,just press that button,and it'll turn to something you could use." My dad told me.

"Your kids need you.Go,son,and make me proud."

I rushed outside,feeling inspired by my dad's words,but still wondering how a watch could save the three.

When I got outside,I was startled by what I saw.There was a bull,but it was standing.I knew what this was in Greek Mythology.It's the Minotaur.The kids were being attacked,they were powerless.

"Where's your weapons?!" I shouted.

"We can't summon them properly,we need a diversion!Think you could handle that?!"

"Yeah!Go to the side!"

Reluctantly,I pressed the side button in my watch.
