I knew a boy
Whose eyes shined bright blue

Who like to draw pretty pictures

Who sang songs and danced in the halls

Who love school
I know a boy
Whose blue eyes no longer shine
I know a boy
Who likes to draw different pictures late at night
I know a boy
Who never speaks, walk where no one can see
I know a boy
Who dreads coming to school every day
I haven't seen that boy in a while
No one has
Everyone regrets what they called you
Because today on the news
They say they found a boy dead in his room
The cuts in his body on his body leave a note for all of us to hear
'Do you like my pretty pictures'
