Once upon a time, there was a girl live in a village named Shirayuki. She known as of her kindness and her red hair, like apple. She worked as a pharmacy in her village. Many villagers visited her place to take some medicine.
One day, two mans from royal guard came to her house to give a letter. Before they leaving Shirayuki’s place, the royal guard said that Shirayuki don’t ever make the King disappointed.
She doesn’t understand, but she keep the letter. She is shocked when read the letter. It’s written that the King wanted Shirayuki to be his concubine. Shirayuki doen’t want to be King’s concubine, so she decided to leave the village quietly without anyone knows.
At night, Shirayuki ready to leave. She using hood to be unseen from anybody because of her red hair. In the middle of her escape, she confused. She didn’t have anyone that she know except from her village. And then, she decided to go to the forest.
When the sun begin to rise, Shirayuki was getting tired. Then she take a rest under a tree. Suddenly a sword almost hit her face. She dodged, then a man fell from the tree while holding the sword. Shirayuki got scared, then she ran as far as she can. But she is too tired, that man with easily block her way. He open the hood that Shirayuki wear and surprised seeing Shirayuki’s hair that the color as red as apple.
“Are you from the Royal Guard ?” ask Shirayuki.
He smile and shake his head.
“My name is Zen. I just hunting in this forest. Your red hair is so beautiful.”
Shirayuki realize there is a wound in his arm. She quickly heal the wound with medicinal plants that she brought.
As a sign of gratitude, Shirayuki asked Zen to help her hide from the Kingdom because she didn’t want to be King’s concubine. Zen agreed and inviting Shirayuki to his house in the forest.
Meanwhile, The King knew that Shirayuki escaped and hiding in the forest. The King ordered his guards to kill Shirayuki by giving her some poisonous apples. The guards disguise as a villager and give a basket of poisonous apples to Shirayuki.
Shirayuki who received the apple didn’t feel suspicious. But zen forbid Shirayuki to eat it before he try it. Zen bite that apple and then he is instantly unconscious.
Shirayuki with hurry making an antidote from the medicinal plants from the forest, then force Zen to swallow it, and hoping Zen get well. Couple days later, Zen wake up. And then zen asked Shirayuki to go to the Kingdom with him.
Apparently Zen is a prince from a kingdom in country across. He ordered the Prime Ministry to arrest that evil King.
Shirayuki surprised hearing that thing. And then Prince Zen rubbing Shirayuki’s hair and asking to be his wife. Shirayuki agreed because along this time she fell in love with Prince Zen. And then they are get married and live happily ever after.
