another Christmas without you

Another Christmas Without You

I took a walk to see the Christmas lights and ornaments yesterday night.

My mind was flooded with thoughts about how it'd be like if we walked through this together, what we would've done, what we would've talked about.

Maybe we'll hold hands, maybe I'll lean on your shoulder while we took a peaceful stroll.

Maybe you'll hold me real tightly like you'd lose me while we maneuver through the crowds.

I wonder if you think about me the same way as I do about you.

Because if you do, then perhaps my Christmas wouldn't feel so empty and lonely after all.

Perhaps I could walk through the lights imagining you beside me, knowing that you are imagining me beside you as well.
