Falling In Time

No more truth,

that could speak without shame,

and for that,

who can we blame?

Not mothers and fathers,

who try so hard.

Nor the different plants,

that grow in our yards.

See one morning,

the world will be true.

And the next a different reflection,

looking at you.

So do I blame the world,

for my dramatic fall.

Or is it just time;

that changes us all?
