I admire this guy, I can't live a day without seeing him. My end is near. The last leaf is my only hope. His final smile, that makes me hope more.
But she's leaving. That means I'm losing hope. It's the only leaf of that maple tree. I remember when we both sat in the bench under that same maple tree. Sharing moments, laughing and talking. I remember when he said "I like you" that made me blush. Though I know it's only my fantasy.
Looking at his eyes gives me the strength to fight. His tears touched my cheeks when he whispered to me that he's leaving
I'm right here sitting on the bench. Waiting for him. He'll meet me for the last time, at the edge of the bench. I saw a letter. And written on it is my name saying.....
Dear Paige,
I'm not with you anymore. You don't know the real reason. But I have this cancer of the heart. I didn't tell you this 'coz I don't want you to worry about me. You are the only reason why I fought. Well. My hope left me crying under this maple tree. Then a leaf fall to my lap. Drawn to it is a heart. I smiled and I admired it. That made me hope again.
