Chapter 1- Eyes

* Alfie's pov*

I have to walk to the store because guess what, I'm out of fucking milk again. Great.

"What if you don't make it to the store?" I hear a random voice say and I look over my shoulder, no-one

"Hello, kid!" I jump and look infront of me, it's just Will, a fella that's been beside me since 3rd grade, apparently I can only see him, what bullshit

"Why do you think that, Will?" I respond not thinking that this may make me look like a psychopath.

" You may not make it to the store, Al, anything can happen at nine in the morning, you could get kidnapped, attacked, anything"

This got me worried, he always worried me like this, especially when I go somewhere early in the morning.

"Shut up, Will, you're talking bullshit again, the usual" 

He just laughed and put his hand on my shoulder " Common boy, if you don't get attacked what WILL happen?" He puts on a stupid fake accent "You'll find your 'true love'?" He laughed the most disgusting laugh "As if boy, you're gay, nobody else in this town is gay, it's all you, you'll never marry!"

This put me  down, what if Will was right? What if I never get married? Nobody will love me

I just ignored him for the rest of the walk

My life is gonna be so much harder than I thought

*George's pov*

I'm in the store, bored the usual, picking up the newspaper for my dad, some milk for my mum and some apple juice for myself

I hear the door open but my mind goes blank

I get what I need and as I turn back I bump into some guy around my age, he drops to the floor and mumbles "Shit" underneath his breath

"S-sorry I d-didn't see you there"

He looks up at me, I'm lost in a daydream, his eyes, they're so beautiful, amber... My favorite colour, it matches well with his gorgeous ginger hair covering his right eye, he's just PERFECT.

He gets up and I snap out of it.

He speaks "It's fine, I didn't see you either". His voice is as soft as freshly cleaned laundry, it's so beautiful and low.

"Um M-y name is G-george" I reach out my hand to shake his

"Oh um, Alfie" he BLUSHES and smiles at me.

I pull the black hair out of my face and I open my mouth to speak but no words will come out

he coughs and looks at me "Do you maybe wanna hang out sometime, whenever you're free?"

I laugh "I'm really free a-all the time" I smile a cute smile and he looks shocked

"Cool! Wanna maybe hang out today? If you're not busy, today" he giggles a bit but them two seconds he giggled was like the best dream. I sigh "I'm actually kinda busy today but not at all busy tomorrow if you wanna meet back up here at around two?

He smiles "That's perfect, you BETTER be here" he laughs "I'm only kidding with you kid" he smiles, get's his things and checks out, his salutes me before he leaves and just by a click of a finger, he was gone.
